7 Use ScoutNET user name and password. Put netbsa\ before your user name.

8 This is the Home page; it gives access to functional assignments. Today, we will discuss Fundraising.

9 This is the functional area for Fundraising. Most of this area is used for configuration and reports. We will explore Workspaces today.

10 This workspace has several tabs that we will explore. Information contained reflects the activities assigned to a system user. The first tab is My Assignments. Note the batches and tasks that need to be completed. We will look at a batch.

11 Click the batch to edit it.

12 This is an accounting import batch importing GL accounts that are connected to the giving categories in PAS. This is part of the conversion process. We will close this and head back to the previous window.

13 We are now going to take a look at an overdue Mailing task. Click the line and then head to Edit. Once we complete the task, we can mark it as completed and it will disappear from the list.

14 we can insert comments and change the status to completed. We will cancel and head back to the Development Workspace.

15 The Donors tab is blank. This will not populate until you add a solicitor to the gift that is in the system.

16 This is the organization calendar in the CRM. It will show all scheduled activities: appeals, events, communication activities, etc.

17 The KPIs tab provides a location to get quick data on appeals and other items for which a KPI has been established. These are created automatically when we set up an appeal.

18 This is a sample KPI. It is currently empty due to lack of information.

19 This test has a goal of 400 with 79 registered; so the KPI is showing this information. This works with money as well.

20 Queries used as position holders show up as well; we will discuss this shortly.

21 Gives a quick view of a query already established. It is a LYBUNT query.

22 Each council will build out an organizational structure of who reports to whom. This benefits the Prospect Management function.

23 Site Security Database will hold a single individual/single organization record for the whole company. Councils will be able to view their constituents records and history. Constituent searches will span the entire database. Councils will be able to see that someone has a record in another council but not why.

27 What to Do Now Single person/organization person/ organization merge. Clean up campaign organization remove workers with no prospects. Delete unused giving categories.
