3 New Membership JOIN WIMI! Welcome to Women in Management. We are glad that you have chosen to join. Please use the following instructions to create an application and website access. In some cases, it may take 7-10 days for an application to be confirmed. From the WIMI website ( click Join WIMI (left hand-side) then click Join Women in Management banner at bottom of page. Use the New Visitors Start Here! Box to join, if you have never registered on the site before. Enter the address you would like associated with WIMI. Click continue. If you have previous setup an account or registered for an event, use the login/password you setup. Click Have you forgotten your username / password information, to request if needed. Follow the screens and select appropriate information: Select a chapter = Do not leave this field as Women in Management. Personal Data = This screen has quite a few sections and fields that are required to be completed (required fields are indicated with an asterisk). The page has light gray scroll bars on the side (right) and bottom of the page to view all fields and questions. Be sure to scroll to the bottom as that is where you will enter a website User Name and Password. Page 3 of 12

Membership dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution according to the laws of the Internal Revenue Service = Ok Section: Website Information Create a User Name Create a Password Page 4 of 12

5 Once all fields are completed, click Save/Continue. The account screen displays. Select the membership option that best fits you. Click Continue and follow the prompts for payment (PayPal or Bill me options vary by chapter). If you would like to mail a payment, please mail to your desired chapter s mailing address. Contact information is available by select Chapters, the desired chapter name, and then Contact. You are all set up! Congratulations! Page 5 of 12

6 Accessing the WIMI Website Visit Logging in: Click on the Member Area on the left. The Member Login box displays. Your login Name is: (whatever you selected when you registered) Password: you selected If you do not recall your User name or Password, you can use the Have you forgotten your username / password information. If this does not work, please contact your website administrator. Their contact information is on the Contact page of the WIMIWI.org website (Hover over Chapters on the left toolbar and select your chapter.) Note: You may change your login and/or password when you update your personal info. To update personal information: After logging in, click My Info from the purple bar (left side). If a board member with additional access, click Member Area, then My info. Update any information you desire (name, , address, professional, community, etc.). When finished updating, make sure to save your changes by clicking on the Actions drop down menu and click Save: Page 6 of 12

7 Create your visible profile and upload photo In the same area for your membership info, click on the View option and then click My Profile. The next screen will be My Info: Profile Page. Click Edit Profile to update. A menu of all the membership fields displays. You can select the check boxes on the right for the fields you wish to display in the member list to be seen by other WIMI members only. On the top of the page, select Yes for Display My Profile. Once you have all the options you want checked, Click the Save button on the bottom or top right corner. Don t forget to save before closing the window. When you save, it will take you back to the profile page now showing your profile info you selected. Now you can upload your profile picture. Below the picture area, click Edit Profile Photo: Page 7 of 12

8 Please make sure your photo is 300kb or less before uploading. If you need assistance with making sure your photo is 300kb or less, please send it to We will resize it and send it back to you. Browse for your photo and click submit. Congratulations! Your profile is now complete. Page 8 of 12

9 Registering for Events If already logged in, go to the calendar by clicking Member Links, then Calendar. If not logged in, go to the calendar by clicking Calendar of Events. On the top of the page for Select a Chapter, if you have selected a specific chapter, you will only see that chapter s events. If you select Women in Management, you will see all events for all chapters (and as a member you are welcome to attend any chapter s events). From the calendar, select a month then click on the event you wish to attend. The Event screen displays and provides you with information regarding program overview, date, time, location, etc. Click Member Registration to register for event and follow the prompts. You can also register guests for this event during this process. If already logged in, the Member Registration button will be the only option available. If not logged in, and you click the Member Registration button, you will be prompted to log in when you click member registration. Page 9 of 12

10 Once you have registered, the Event screen displays for payment options. After selecting appropriate payment option your Cart will update and provide you with a summary. At this point, you can add an additional attendee (i.e., guest) by selecting Add Attendee. Once all attendees have been selected, select the appropriate payment option and click Select Payment Option button. If your chaper uses PayPal, you will see that as an option. Selecting PayPal will take you to the PayPal site to submit a payment. You do not need a PayPal account yourself to use this option. The Bill Me option = payment is due at Event via cash or check. Submit Order. An order confirmation displays. Just below the confirmation is the link to Return to Website or Place Another Order. Page 10 of 12
