2 FINDING AND REGISTERING THE BEST LOCAL DOMAIN I highly recommend that registering your key LOCAL Domain(s) and HOSTING should ALWAYS be done at the SAME PLACE. Any other way gets very complicated and you may not be able to follow along as we move forward depending on your level of experience. Before you register your domain you will need to decide which route you are going to go. ***The setup of each method is different, so please follow along closely. This guide is broken in 4 Parts based on what your choice below is: PART 1: I want to register a city specific domain, like: InBoulderArea.com PART 2: I want to register a single use domain, like: FloristsInMesa.com PART 3: I have my own hosting somewhere else. (In this case it does not matter which type of domain you are going to be using.) PART 4: I have already done PART 1 and/or PART 2 and I am ready to add more Single Use Domains and/or City Specific Domains. ***Based on your choice from above, please find the PART below which applies***

3 PART 1: I Want to Use a City Specific Domain Please follow the details in this chapter very closely. Using this option gives you great flexibility and allows you to have ALL 60 (formerly 43) of your Spaces online and live today. That can be the best way for most Members to. Get this type of domain and the setup of all of these spaces with the host is automated and quick for you. Then, you can begin to expand into some Single Use Domains. Using the suggestions below, let s locate and register your first local domain right now. The next page shows you how to search for the domain you want. There are many other options you can find. Trying similar combinations by using words like: region, search, best, location, closest, recommended, site. This link is ONLY for city specific domains. This is also where you will set-up you hosting and get your Spaces live and online fast. Below is a Step-by-Step detail of how to SEARCH for your Local Domain, and then get it live and online quickly.

5 Simply Follow This Stuff In Order: When you go to the Local Domain Host link you are going to land on the special Net Space Members start page which looks like this: IF you do not see the Net Space Profits logo on the page, you are not in the right place. It is VERY important you start at this page because this is where your MasterCode is pre-loaded and following this process makes your set-up automatic and super easy. Click on CLICK HERE to Start Your Local Domain Search! and you will go to the following page: This is the page you will land on and where you search for your Local Domain: So, on this page you will enter your Local Domain ideas in the box and click Continue.

6 This search tool will let you know if that Local Domain is available. If it IS AVAILABLE, then you will automatically proceed to purchase it and get the MasterCode and hosting automatically set up. If the Local Domain you searched is NOT available, then you will be able to search your next idea. Continue the process until you get the one you want. NOTE: After you get your domain and hosting, the hosting company will present you with a ton of upgrades similar to the one shown below. You DO NOT need any of these. One thing about this host I am not wild about is the number of other add-ons they try to sell you. You don t need any of these. Just keep going to the bottom of the page and click No Thanks. Part of the set-up you do need is Hosting. When purchasing your domain name you will select the hosting on that same page. This process automatically connects 1) your domain, 2) the Net Space Mastercode, and 3) Your selected hosting all together. After you complete payment you will need to go to your account and find the s from Brain Host Support as the examples shown below: You ll want to first open the one that says: Your Net Space Profits Site Is Ready.

7 In that you will find this information: Click on this. You ll need this username and password Click on your website address that ends in: install.php as shown above. When you click on your install.php link you will go to the following page:

8 This is the page which gives you the ability to automatically insert your CITY and STATE names into ALL of your spaces. This step customizes your spaces to your Local Target Market. You ll fill in the blanks as shown on the next page.

9 Here s what goes in the blanks: cpanel Domain: enter your Local Domain. The example above is: inboulderarea.com cpanel Username & Password: Look in the from Brain Host. This info is in there. Package File: Leave this set on fastmaxmastercode.zip Main Domain: enter your Local Domain here again. (never use www ) *City: Enter your target market city EXACTLY how you want it to appear on your Spaces. *State Short: The abbreviation for your State (or Province/County for non-u.s. markets) *State Long: Spell out the State, Province, etc. *Even though these read City, State Short, and State Long, for your non-u.s. markets you can enter anything that is relevant to your target market. Whatever you enter here will be inserted in exactly that same way in various parts of your spaces. Enter the most search engine relevant information as this is important to establish your local domain a relevant for a given market you are targeting. Then Click [NEXT]

10 After you click NEXT you will brought to this page: On this page you have the opportunity to CHANGE what is called the subdomain of your spaces. This is VERY IMPORTANT for securing good positioning in local search, Yellow Pages, and other local portals online. For example, if you live in the UK, care care auto service may be more accurately changed to garage, as that is a more common term for this category. If you are in a non-u.s. market, take a minute to go over each of these categories and make sure

11 they match your local terminology as accurately as possible. In the event there is a category there which simply does not apply to your region, simply leave it as it is. Since it does not apply to your market it will never be a factor as these things are driven by real local search terms people use. So, if there is a search term on the list no one in your region uses, the Space will never be an issue, so simply ignore it. Next Once you have completed checking over everything and are happy with the categories, then at the very bottom of the page your will see Install. Click on that only ONE TIME. Then STOP and WAIT. Be patient because when you click on Install the server will begin an automatic process of installing the MasterCode and getting ALL 60 of your spaces online and live. Additionally, the local city / state / county / province information you have entered will be integrated through all of your spaces and cross links will be built. (Please see the following page for important information before moving forward).

12 This is what the install process will look like on your screen. Do NOT exit this page until your see DONE at the very bottom of the page as shown below: THIS TAKES SEVERAL MINUTES!!! Do not leave this page before it is 100% complete or your website files will be corrupted and incomplete. It does take a little while, so wait it out. When it is all done, you can go to your main website address and your will see ALL 60 of your spaces listed there and ready. That s it. Your Spaces are live and it s time for you to move to the next step!

13 PART 2: I Want to Use a Single Use Domain As I detailed for you in the Guide What To Do First in Part 1, I have arranged for special hosting which gives you great automation as well as flexibility to grow to any level you choose. This hosting service also handles domain registration for you as well. For single use domain, you need to register your domain through a special link which will bring you directly to the host AND automatically create your domain on the server where the MasterCode is. The MasterCode is your website programming all set up and ready to go. What this means for you is that after you register your domain, the hosts automatic system will install the appropriate website files for you and you site will be online! It s that fast and easy. Remember, as I mentioned, your MasterCode files are already setup and ready to be installed on any Local Domain you choose with the Host. This automation and integration eliminates the complicated stuff for you. So, if you are going to use a Single Use domain, then you ll need to first search and find the best one available, and then proceed to register it, set up hosting, and automatically your website will be installed and go live within minutes. 14 ***NOTE: If you do not see the BrainHost + Net Space Profits 2.0 logo on the page, then you are on the wrong page. You cannot enter the correct page from BrainHosts home page. You must start at the special link above otherwise you will be registering your domain on the wrong platform and the automated website setup and activation will not be possible. Once on this page click on CLICK HERE To Start Your Local Domain Search! button to go here: This is where you search the different Single Use domain name ideas you have come up with. Find the one you want and then continue on to the Registration process and setting up hosting. Once you have reached the page with the information below on it:

15 Double Check these 3 important things: 1) Your domain name is displayed, 2) the price is $9.95 If the price showing is $14.95 you are on the wrong page. You must START at the link show above where it says: Go Here To Register Your SINGLE USE Domain, and 3) UNCHECK the box that says Domain Privacy because you DO NOT want domain privacy in that it can negatively affect your positioning in search. Proceed through the payment process and continue all the way through until you see the page that looks like this: Once you see this page, go to your box and look for the from Brainhost that has the subject line: Your Net Space Profits Site Is Ready.

16 The looks like this and contains important information: Once you have this you need to open a new browser window and in the address bar type in the following: ***Replace YourDomainName with whatever the domain name is you just registered. See example on following page.

17 When you type in the URL as shown above correctly and hit enter, you will land on your Setup page as shown below:

18 On this setup page you must enter in ALL of the information as shown. Then click INSTALL and the system will automatically install your website and get it online. Please see the image below and note the Install program is showing a DONE message at the very bottom of the file. When you see this you will know your website installation and domain activation are complete and live. You can now visit your site online and are ready to proceed to the next steps in the process which involve getting your website well positioned in local search using the tools and techniques I provide you.

19 PART 3: I Have My Own Hosting Already If you have hosting somewhere else you want to use to host your Net Spaces, then your set-up process will be quite different and a little more involved. As every hosting company and every server is different, should you run into problems getting this setup on any hosting account other that our recommended provider, we will need to refer you to your Hosts Tech support for help with their services. Please note, in the minimum, your hosting server must be Linux based, must have a current version of PHP running, and must be able to accommodate unlimited domains AND subdomains. Sometimes these are referred to as add on domains. We know from experience with other Members when a problem is encountered with a third party host, most often it is learned the problem is one of these three limitations. To install the websites onto your own existing server you will need to view the special video I made for this purpose. It is made using a Host Gator account as an example of how this will work with a typical hosting company. Watch This How To Video: You can retrieve the files your need on the same page the video is located. NOTE: When installing for a city specific domain you use the Mastercode Files as described in the video along with the install.php file as illustrated there. When installing for a single use domain you will use the Categories Files and the setup.php file in the exact same process and manner shown in the video. Of course for this to work once installed, your domain must be registered and your DNS settings must be set to point to the proper location. Your hosting company and/or domain registrar will have to assist you with this should you have a question or problems. We are not familiar with how those things work with other hosts so we will not be able to answer any questions regarding this.

20 PART 4: I have already done PART 1 and/or PART 2 and I am ready to add more Single Use Domains and/or City Specific Domains. To add domains simply follow the exact same process outlined in Part 1 or Part 2 as you have done before. ***However, you must start at one of the links shown below in order for the new domains to be added to your account on the SAME PLATFORM.*** Very Important!!! If you are adding a city specific domain Start here: If you are adding a single use domain Start here: When you go to either of those URL s you will land on a login page: This is to login to your existing BrainHost account. If you do not remember your login details, simply click on retrieve password so that it can be ed to you. Login and simply follow the exact registration and setup process you have done before. The difference is this time there will be no hosting because by using these special links you are adding them to your existing account.
