3 What s New In the latest release, you will notice visual changes to the landing page when logging in to the DTCC portal*. These changes were made to improve usability and increase functionality: Each page s design has been updated to be more in line with overall DTCC branding policies The Access Coordinator list has been set to sort by Product o A search function was also added The Computer Registration and Certificate Download functions were simplified to be smoother and faster Products that are designated as PSE were moved fully into the PSE Portal o The PSE Portal can be accessed by clicking the PSE - Portal tile available on your Portal main landing page *These changes will only be shown if you are running Internet Explorer 11 or Chrome. For more information on supported browsers, see Requirements of the New Portal. What Hasn t Changed We want to ensure an easy and smooth transition. Here are the DTCC Portal features which are remaining the same as you have known them: The login screen and your login information All URLs o Including those for direct product access DTCC support contact phone numbers Purpose The purpose of this document is to describe how to use the DTCC Portal to log in and perform the following functions: Access your products Find the right Access Coordinator to request a new product from Update your login ID s registered address Register your computer Download a certificate (if applicable) For each section, the previous page designs will be shown for recognition purposes followed by the corresponding new page designs.

4 List of Portals & URLs We are rolling out this new design to one DTCC Portal at a time to ensure a smooth transition. Here are the list of Portals and what state they are in when this document was last updated. 5 Understanding the New Portal This section will show the old Portal design and guide you through understanding the new one. First, here is the Portal as you may remember it: Note: The products shown here will likely vary from what you are familiar with seeing. The list of products shown here are only given as an example. Product link visibility is given based on access controlled by the Customer Registration System (CRS). For more information, see Finding an Access Coordinator. Next, here is an example of the new Portal.

6 Note that everything is in roughly the same area except for the Need Access to Another Product tile, which has moved from the upper right to the lower left. All functionality has remained.

7 Accessing a Product The main use of the DTCC Portals is for product access. The products which your login ID currently is entitled for are shown in the upper left of the screen. Product links are now displayed as tiles. Tiles are sorted alphabetically with the product s name given first, followed by a description in smaller font. The product s line of business is represented at the bottom of the tile first by the strip of color and second when you hover over and the tile is displayed fully in that color. If you have less than ten products, your tiles will be displayed in a three wide format (see previous screenshot). If you have ten or more products, your tiles will be displayed in a four wide format (shown below). This is to reduce scrolling and better use the available screen resolution.

8 Finding an Access Coordinator Sometimes you may have trouble locating a product that you previously had access to or you may need to be given access to a new product entirely. For this and other questions, you ll need to reach out to one of your company s Access Coordinators. Previously, the Access Coordinator list was found in the upper right under your user profile. It was a link that when clicked would expand and show a scrollable table of Access Coordinators and their products, sorted by name. In the new design the Access Coordinator list is found in the bottom left, shown highlighted in blue below.

9 When clicked, this tile now displays the information in an overlay format. Access Coordinators (ACs) are sorted by the products they support and all the information in the table, both products & AC names, are able to be searched for.

11 Updating Your Address From time to time, your address may change and your DTCC Portal user profile may become out of date. You previously were able to change your though the My Profile Update Your Address link in the upper right of the DTCC Portal. When clicked, it would yield a page similar to the example below. Notice the small Update link. In the new design, the same functionality is provided via the Manage Profile tile still in the upper right, shown highlighted below.

12 When clicked, your profile information is displayed in an overlay format. Your and contact number are displayed as they were input into CRS.

13 If you need to update your address, you can click the ID tile with the pencil, shown highlighted below. The Update ID action will be displayed.

14 Here you will be able to update your address. Simply type in your new in both fields and click Update. See Potential Errors if you encounter any issues for more information.

15 You will see a green confirmation message at the top and receive an in around 15 minutes time. From here you may click the X in the top right corner of the overlay to return to the DTCC Portal.

16 Potential Errors In this section we will cover a few potential problems you may encounter while trying to update your ID. You may see one or more sets of red error text below the ID text field(s). Generally they are self-explanatory, however for additional details, please see below: Incorrect Address Format: You have not typed a character that is typically seen in an address, such as symbol or included a period.. Please retype this field. Address don t match: Please locate which field was incorrectly typed (may be both) and retype the field to be correct. Please fill out this field / This is a required field: Blank fields are not allowed when updating your address. Please fill out the field to match the other. Use valid domain: Access Coordinators can use the CRS product to control which address domains are valid under their company. The domain entered (the part that comes after symbol) was not marked as valid by your company s Access Coordinators. Please confirm with an AC which domains are valid.

19 Registering Your Computer We ask that you validate your identity when you log in from a new computer, a new browser, or if your computer s cookies have been cleared. In both the old and new designs, this consists of being sent an and shown a screen asking that you enter the code from the we just sent to your registered address. Your Access Coordinators can update your in CRS or you can do it yourself from the Portal.

21 Downloading a Certificate Certain products require a certificate for proper use. When a login ID is entitled with one of these products, a certificate will automatically be generated and an with a code sent. The next time that login ID accesses the DTCC Portal, they will be greeted with a screen to download and install their new certificate. First, the old design of the two screens (code input screen and installation screen):

25 FAQ Requirements of the New Portal DTCC Supported Browsers Internet Explorer 11 and above Google Chrome Browsers Not Supported by DTCC Internet Explorer versions below 11 Internet Explorer running in Enterprise mode Internet Explorer running in Compatibility mode Mozilla Firefox Other browsers not explicitly mentioned above What will happen if I m running an unsupported browser? If you are not in compliance with DTCC Browser Policy, you will be unable to see the new Portal design and will be redirected to our legacy Portal. This legacy Portal will still allow access to your products but will not be supported in the future and will lack many new features we will be rolling out as time passes. We strongly urge you to work with your company to bring your internet browser in line with our policy. Additionally, the legacy Portal will have this message in the rightmost column under Announcements: I updated my browser but am still seeing the legacy Portal. How do I switch? Please perform a fresh login to refresh the provided version of the DTCC Portal. Where can I get more information on the DTCC Browser Policy? We are here to help!
