2 What is Transformation Station? IVANS Transformation Station is a managed data exchange for insurance industry trading partners. It serves as a single connection point, single stream communications infrastructure to unify transaction workflow and reduce costs among all industry participants. With this infrastructure, Transformation Station enriches transactions by offering real-time transactions, immediate and batch mailbox delivery, and any-to-any data format translations. Transformation Station offers these services to the entire industry including agencies, carriers, and third-party vendors. What is Agent Station? Agent Station provides real-time and immediate mailbox delivery transactions. Agency management vendors or third party firms can offer Transformation Station capability to their customers by integrating Agent Station components into their software. Agent Station is a Component Object Model (COM) object library that encapsulates client-side data stream creation, parsing, and mapping necessary for real-time transactions. Agent Station library components provide the developer with tools to build application functionality capable of operating with Transformation Station. Agent Station Requirements The run time agent station code requires the following components: Intel-compatible PC including Intel 450Mhz Pentium III CPU 128 MB of RAM (64 MB minimum) 40 MB hard drive space Windows98/2000, NT4.0 Service Pack 3, or XP. How to install the Transformation Station Software You will need to be on ebixone patch 9.08.05 or higher to use Real Time Interface.

3 How to install the Transformation Station Software You will need to be on ebixone patch or higher to use Real Time Interface. Ebix Support will need to dial into your ebixone system to activate the Real Time Interface/Transformation Station feature. Once that has been done, you will need to perform the following steps to setup the Transformation Station integration with your ebixone system. Step 1: You will need to add a Transformation Station User password into ebixone. Only UserID s with a TS password will have access into Real Time Interface/Transformation Station. From the ebixone main menu, go into Tables -> Master Files -> Users > Edit. Go to page 3 and at the bottom there is a new field titled TS password. Enter in a password for each user; it can be the same or different from their regular ebixone password. Step 2: Click on Start -> Run -> Browse or enter the network drive/path where you have your ebixone database stored, normally F:\CDPROD. Find the directory called EXEC and select a file called Astation.exe. Run this installation program and follow the prompts, accepting all of the defaults. This will install the necessary Agency Station components on your workstation. Do NOT change the install path. Note: The above step will need to be performed on all your workstations that will be accessing Transformation Station. Step 3. Next you will need to configure Transformation Station to pull your account information from the Ivans Transformation Station server. This step only needs to be done once and will affect all workstations. From the main ebixone menu, click on the ebixinquiry icon (4 th from the left) or from the Customer Lobby or Policy Information screen, click on the RT Inquiry button or ebixinquiry from the menu bar (far right) and then select Transformation Station. You will receive the following pop-up message. Click OK and you will be taken to the following screen: EbixONE & Real Time Interface Revised 2/10/2006 Page 3

You will be prompted for your Ebix Customer ID: This is your ebix customer code used for access to the ebix support website. Enter your ID and click OK.

You will be asked to enter an Administrator password. This is the password that protects the WARPExch.dat file on your system.

If you don t know your Customer ID, please call the ebix support desk at At this point, the Initial Account Setup Wizard will start running. You will be asked to enter an Administrator password. This is the password that protects the WARPExch.dat file on your system. Enter "datapro" (without the quotation marks). You will have an opportunity to change this password at a later time. Now enter your e-mail address, click on Next and follow the instructions on the screens that come up. You will then be connected to the TS servers and all of your account information will be updated.

Once the download has successfully completed, you will be brought back to the Transformation Station Select Transaction screen, which is the main Transformation Station screen. Step 4: You will need to add users to Transformation Station. From the Transformation Station main screen, click on Sync Users. This will automatically add all the users that have been assigned a TS password in Step 1. Selecting this option will automatically setup the users, nothing will appear on your screen. Step 5: If you want to change your administrator password, click on Account Setup, select the Admin tab and then options Change Administrator Password and Password Reminder. Step 6: You will need to map your insurance carriers. From the Transformation Station Select Transaction screen, click on Assign Vendor Codes. The left side of the screen lists the carriers available in Transformation Station. The right side of the screen lists the Market Companies you have setup in ebixone. Select the Transformation Station carrier from the dropdown list and then highlight all ebixone carriers that are associated with that carrier, using the scroll bar move up and down the list. Once you are done, click on Update. Your setup is now complete and you may start using Transformation Station. NOTE: Some carriers require that an agency contract code be sent with the Transmission file, so you will need to add your agency contract code into ebixone. You can do this at the company level and/or the policy level. For Company level, go into Tables, Master Files, Companies, Edit. Highlight the carrier and click Open, then click on the Contract button. For Policy level, open the policy, under the Account Tab on the policy screen, about half way down on the left side is a field called CONT#. This is a lister field that pulls from the Company-Contract file. When processing a RT Inquiry transaction, the program first looks at the policy file for the contract#, if not there, then it pulls from the company-contract file. 8 Information about the Transformation Station screen There are many ways to access Transformation Station. We have added a new RT Inquiry button throughout ebixone screens. You will find it on the Customer Lobby under the Policy, Accounting or Claims tabs; main Policy Screen; Vehicle lister and Homeowner s coverage screens. In addition, under the ebixinquiry dropdown menu on both the Customer lobby and the Policy information screen, we have added the option for Transformation Station. From the main ebixone menu, click on the ebixinquiry icon (4 th from the left) to access an option for Transformation Station. Once in the Transformation Station screen, select the type of inquiry you want from the left portion of the screen. Only the options that are valid for that carrier will be available, others will be grayed out. The customer and policy information will be prefilled. The correct Transformation Company should also have been selected, depending on the type of transaction. If not, use the dropdown arrow to select the correct Transformation Company. Change the Evaluation dates if necessary. Now select the Process Transaction button to access the carriers website. Note: If the carrier requires User level security, you will be prompted for your userid and password for that specific carrier s website. You will only be prompted the first time you access that carrier s website. Once you enter this information, it is saved in Transformation Station and will be used for all future access to that carrier by you. This information is stored for each userid. 9 The buttons at the bottom of this screen will only be available for users that have been setup as Supervisor equivalent in ebixone, except for Manage ID. They will be grayed out for all other users. After the initial setup is done, the Vendor Config button becomes Account Setup. There are 4 options on the Account Setup Menu Account, Products, Admin and Users. You can use the Admin tab to change your Administrator Password or Users tab to delete/inactivate a user that was previously setup. This is also where you can change your user level security for users that do not have SPV security level for their userid. Manage ID/Password: This option is used for carriers that require User level security. The list of carriers that require this information will be listed. Select carrier and click on Edit. You will be prompted for your Userid and password for that carrier. This information will have been automatically added the first time you access the carrier s website from Transformation Station. If you ever need to change that information or you typed in the wrong information, this is where you would make the necessary changes. Assign Vendor Codes: Use this option to map your insurance carriers. The left side of the screen lists the carriers available in Transformation Station. The right side of the screen lists the Market Companies you have setup in ebixone. Select the Transformation Station carrier from the dropdown list and then highlight all ebixone carriers that are associated with that carrier, using the scroll bar to move up and down the list. Once you are done, click on Update. Account Update: This option is used to update the carriers and their Real Time Interface options. As new carriers and new options for existing carriers become available, you will need to run the Account Update to activate them. Sync Users: This option will update the Users setup in ebixone with a TS password to have access to Transformation Station when they are signed into ebixone.
