1 RELC Examinations Bureau Candidate Portal Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Q1. How frequent should I login to my RELC Candidate Portal Account? A1. RELC EB will be putting up important announcements and desk numbers on the RELC Candidate Portal. You are strongly encouraged to login in the following months: - December to January (to verify your subject details before making payment, to submit your Exam Entry Form after payment, etc) - April to June (to check your desk numbers) If you are taking your examinations from July to December, please login to check your desk numbers 3 working days prior to each of your exam module. (Please refer to Q8 for more details.) Home Q2. Where can I view the announcements from RELC EB? A2. You can view the announcements from your Home page.

2 Update Profile Q3. Which address type should I select for my address? A3. Please refer to the following screenshots: Formatted address type for Housing & Development Board (HDB) Formatted address type for Condominium Unformatted address type for landed housing, commercial buildings and non-singapore addresses Q4. Can I update my Name / ID number / Date of Birth / SRN details in the RELC Candidate Portal? A4. You are not allowed to update the above information in RELC Candidate Portal. Please the information to us at uol@relc.org.sg or via the Portal under Feedback option and we will update the information for you. View Exam/Test Details Q5. What should I do if the subjects shown on the View Exam / Test Details are from past years examination? A5. If the examination details are showing the previous examination record or incorrect records, please us at uol@relc.org.sg and attach your latest Examination Entry Form (EEF). We will inform you on when you will be able to make payment through AXS stations. Note: Although you may see the updated details on the portal, the change at the AXS Station will only take effect on the next working day. Payment via AXS station is only available during the January registration period.

After I have made payment on 6 January through AXS machine, I logged into RELC Candidate Portal to check the Registration Status ( Reg Status ), it is still showing as Pending instead of Confirmed. Why is this so? A6. The Registration status in RELC Candidate Portal will be updated to Confirmed status on the next day after payment date i.e. If payment has been made on 6 January, the Status will be updated to Confirmed only on 7 January in the Candidate Portal. Q7. When will I receive information regarding the exam venue? A7. RELC EB will students the exam venue details and instructions to view their desk number approximately 5 working days prior to the start of the examinations. The information will also be made available at the same time on the RELC website and the RELC Candidate Portal. Q8. I have registered for 2 exam papers on 5 May and 9 May. When can I see my desk numbers on RELC Candidate Portal? A8. You will be able to view your desk numbers on RELC Candidate Portal approximately 3 working days prior to each exam date. 4 Q10. How do I know if my withdrawal request submission has been successful? A10. RELC staff will contact you within 3 working days upon receipt of your request. If you do not hear from us after 3 working days, please call us at or uol@relc.org.sg to check on the status. Q11. How can I keep a copy of what I have submitted to RELC EB for my withdrawal? A11. You should do a Print screen of the Message after you have clicked the Submit button. You can also go to File => Print before logging out of the Page.

5 Submit Documents Q12. Will I receive an acknowledgement from RELC EB after I submit my Examination Entry Form (EEF) at Submit Documents page? A12. For submission of evidence of mitigating circumstances (for example, medical certificates, doctor s letter, etc), you may it to UOL s Senior Assessment Manager: Examinations pgug.exams@london.ac.uk.
