2 Health Survey How long does it take to complete the Health Survey? For most people, it should take between 10 and 20 minutes to complete the Health Survey. The time can vary because some answers may trigger additional questions. We ask about your latest blood pressure and cholesterol test results, so it s good to have them handy. (These are not required to finish but will make your results even more personalized.) Can I change any of my answers while taking the Health Survey? Yes. While you're in the process of taking the Health Survey, click the green arrow on the left side of the screen to go back to previous questions. You can change your answers but will need to continue answering the survey after that point (you can t skip forward). Can I retake the Health Survey after I finish it? Yes. You can retake the Health Survey at any time. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of any page and select Profile" from the drop-down menu. Choose the "Health Profile" tab to see your full results. Your Rally Age will be on the left. Click the green "Retake Survey" button just below your Rally Age to start the Health Survey again. At this time it s not possible to update just a single answer or numerical value. What if I want to finish the rest of my Health Survey later? During the Health Survey, you can quit by clicking the "Finish Later" link at the top of the screen. When you return to Rally, you'll receive a message with a link that says, "Finish your Health Survey." Click the link to return to where you previously left off. Page 2

3 Challenges What are Rally Challenges? Rally Challenges consist of two 3-day walking/running Challenges (DC Dash and SF Stomp) and one 7- day Challenge (Chi-Town Shuffle). Within each Challenge, you compete against others and are awarded Rally Coins as you make your way around the virtual course. A fitness tracking device is required to join a Public Challenge. As you walk or run in real life using the fitness device, your distance is applied to the virtual course. The course for both 3-day challenges is ~25 miles, and the course for the 7-day challenge is ~60 miles. All courses can be lapped Can I join more than one Challenge simultaneously? You can join only one Public Challenge at a time Do I have to be in the city of the challenge to participate? No. Rally Challenges are virtual. If you have a Fitbit, Jawbone, or BodyMedia tracking device, you can walk/run anywhere (even on a treadmill) and sync your distance to the virtual course How do I find out how to download the Rally mobile app? You can download the Rally mobile app from the Apple App Store here. Alternatively, when you sign up for a Mission and opt to use your mobile device as your automatic tracking device, you will be sent an with instructions on how to download the app. Simply open the on your mobile phone and click the Download button. 4 Missions How do Missions work? Missions are a great way to add new, healthy habits to your everyday routine. When you join a Mission, you ll be asked to perform an activity a certain number of times every week. When you complete the activity enough times over the course of a week, you ve nailed your week! After four successful weeks, you ll reach a Mission milestone. Each step along the way, you ll earn Rally Coins for your accomplishments. How do I join a Mission? To join a Mission, select the "Missions" tab on the top of any page in Rally, and click on "Browse All." You ll see the "Recommended For You" Missions at the top. Simply click the green "Join" button for any Mission that interests you. To see others, look in the "All Missions" section below. You can browse or use the filters to find Missions you d like to join. How do I sign up for a mission using my mobile phone as my activity tracking device? When you sign up for a mission that is eligible for automatic tracking, you will be given the option of how to track your progress. Select Mobile Device to use your iphone 5s or above for tracking. You ll be ed instructions on how to download the app. Open the on your phone and follow the link to download the app. You can enable motion tracking when setting up the device, or at any time, by going to More > Settings > Motion Tracking Devices in the app and selecting your mobile device. How do I check in to my Missions for days prior to today? You can enter your activity in yes/no Missions for past days by following these steps: Click on the Mission to take you to the Mission Details page. Click on the day of the week for which you want to check in. Select the "Yes" or "No" button for that day. To enter past activity for device-enabled Missions: Click on the Mission to take you to the Mission Details page. Click "Sync Device. View past data for the current week or a previous week by clicking on the left-facing arrow. Page 4

5 Mobile devices How do I find out how to download the Rally mobile app? You can download the Rally mobile app from the Apple App Store. Alternatively, when you sign up for a Mission and opt to use your mobile device as your automatic tracking device, you will be sent an with instructions on how to download the app. Simply open the on your mobile phone and click the Download button. I'm having trouble syncing my device with a Mission or Challenge. What do I do? Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of any page and select Device Settings" from the drop-down menu. Select the button for your device (for example, your Fitbit) and click Update Activity Device. You will be taken to the manufacturer s website and will need to log in to your account there. When you re done, return to the Challenge or Mission and try syncing again. Can I use multiple tracking devices with my Rally account? Currently, you can use only a single tracking device (e.g., the Rally mobile app or a Fitbit, Jawbone, etc.) with your Rally account at a time. You may switch devices at any time; all your device-enabled Missions and Challenges will convert to the new tracking method once confirmed. Why is the number of steps I've taken today in Activity different from the number of steps shown in my Missions & Challenges? Page 5

6 Rally pulls information from Apple Health, Google Fit, and third-party device apps, but not third-party devices themselves, so those apps need to be updated before you sync to Rally. For example, if you have 3,500 steps on your Fitbit, but the Fitbit app was last synced at 2,700 steps, the Rally app will show 2,700 as well. I do not have one of the approved wearable fitness devices to join a Challenge. Can I still join? Currently, Challenges are available only to users with one of the approved wearable fitness devices: Page 6
