1 SESR ( Last Modified: 11/17/2004 ) PURPOSE This screen replaces SEUM. This screen is used to display employees' RACF ID, employees' security ID, caseloads, phone and fax numbers, mailing address, date of last update to the information and notation of who made the last update. HOW TO ACCESS From a cleared screen there are four ways to access: 1) type SESR and press [Enter] 2) type SESR, [RACF ID you wish to view] and press [Enter]; 3) type SESR, [BRANCH CODE you wish to view] and press [Enter]; 4) type SESR, [CASELOAD ID you wish to view] and press [Enter] OR From another child support screen, type SESR over the top of the transaction code on the screen being displayed. HOW TO USE/SEARCH RACF SEARCH - Enter the RACF ID in the 'RACF USER' field, press [Enter] CASELOAD SEARCH - Can be accomplished in two ways. Using the case load identifier will return you only the one caseload entered - Enter the caseload identifier in the 'EMPL/CASELOAD' field, press [Enter]. Using Branch Code with the Title value of 'SEA' will return you all the caseloads within a branch - Enter the Branch Code in the 'SEA BR/DA' field and 'SEA' in the 'TITLE' field, press [Enter]. If more than one record exists it will be indicated in the 'PAGE' fields in the top right of the screen, using the 'F7'/'F8' keys will allow you to scroll through the multiple records. EMPLOYEE ID SEARCH - Will return the Employee information and any caseloads they have assigned to them - Enter the Employee ID in the 'EMPL/CASELOAD' field, press [Enter]. EMPLOYEE NAME SEARCH - Can be accomplished in two ways. Using the Full employee name - Enter the correct full spelling of the last name in the 'LAST NAME' field and enter the correct full spelling of the first name in the 'FIRST' field, press [Enter]. If more than one record exists it will be indicated in the 'PAGE' fields in the top right of the screen, using the 'F7'/'F8' keys will allow you to scroll through the multiple records. Using only the first three characters of the last name - Enter at least three characters of the employee's last name in the 'LAST NAME' field, press [Enter]. If more than one record exists it will be indicated in the 'PAGE' fields in the top right of the screen, using the 'F7'/'F8' keys will allow you to scroll through the multiple records. BRANCH SEARCH - Can be accomplished in two ways. Branch only search will return all employee within a branch - Enter the branch code in the 'SEA BR/DA' field, press [Enter]. If more than one record exists it will be indicated in the 'PAGE' fields in the top right of the screen, using the 'F7'/'F8' keys will allow you to scroll through the multiple

2 records. Branch/Title search will narrow down the scope of a branch search by returning only one level of employees within a branch. (Example: Using LDW in the 'TITLE' field with a branch code will return you only the lead workers within a branch.) - Enter the branch code in the 'SED BR/DA' field, then type in one of the valid title values in the 'TITLE' FIELD, press [Enter]. If more than one record exists it will be indicated in the 'PAGE' fields in the top right of the screen, using the 'F7'/'F8' keys will allow you to scroll through the multiple records. NOTE: This is especially helpful when you are trying to locate the caseload assignments within a branch when the worker is assigned to the 'Parent' branch (e.g. POPO) and not the 'Specialized' branch (e.g. COPO) code. TITLE ONLY SEARCH - Is limited to two title values only of 'AAG' and 'REG'. Enter one of the values in the 'TITLE' field, press [Enter]. If more than one record exists it will be indicated in the 'PAGE' fields in the top right of the screen, using the 'F7'/'F8' keys will allow you to scroll through the multiple records. HELPFUL HINT: Since most Employees are assigned to a 'Parent' branch, you will get a 'NO RECORD FOUND' message if you enter a functional branch value only in your search. (Example: POPO has 42 employees assigned to the branch code, COPO has no employees assigned to it, only caseloads.) For Functional branch codes, use the 'SEA' value in the 'TITLE' field. When the screen is displayed, only fields: 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 are available to enter information. If you have entered the screen from a blank screen using method #1 (above) or from another screen, these fields will be blank. To begin your search, enter data into only one of the six fields. If you entered this screen using methods #2 - #4 (above), if there is a match the screen will come up as shown. DESCRIPTION OF FIELDS The following numbered explanations correspond to the bold numbers above: 1 PAGE - The number of the page you are viewing, and how many additional pages may be viewed

3 based upon the search criteria. For example, if you just search by POPO in the branch code, this may return 60 pages that you may view. 2 RACF USER - The full RACF ID of the person you are searching for. If another search method is used, this field will display the RACF ID of the person found. 3 EMPL/CASELOAD - Either the three character caseload ID or the security ID you are searching for. If another search method is used, this field will display the security ID of the person found. 4 LAST NAME - The last name of the employee. If you are using this field to search, enter the first three characters of the person's last name. 5 CASELOAD INF - This heading will cover three fields: CASELOAD ID - This is the three character caseload identifier for the caseload(s) assigned to this person. BRANCH CODE - This is the four character branch code for the associated caseload(s) assigned to this person. CASELOAD BREAKDOWN - The alpha breakdown for the associated caseload(s) assigned to this person. NOTES: If the person does not carry any caseloads, the words NONE ASSIGNED will appear. Up to nine (9) associated caseloads may be displayed for one person. 6. UPDATE INF - This heading will cover two fields: DATE OF LAST UPDATE - This is the date of the last update to the caseload(s) assigned to this person. Each caseload may be individually updated, so each caseload will have a separate date of last update. ID OF LAST UPDATE - This is the last three digits/characters of the RACF ID of the person making each update to the caseload(s). 1 FIRST - The first name of the employee. You cannot search for an employee by first name only. 2 MI - Middle initial of the person matched. 3 SED BR/DA - The four character code for the DCS/DA branch associated with person you are searching for. If the branch code is normally three characters (ie...psr), the fourth character will be the letter B'. You may use this field to search for an entire branch. Valid codes are:

This field may only be used as a search within a branch code unless the code you are using is AAG or REG. For example, you may not search for all case managers statewide, but you may search for all case managers within a particular branch. Valid codes are:

7 C Change I Inactive 1 BR/DA - DCS or DA 2 MAIL ADDR1 - First line of mailing address, includes name of office. 3 MAIL ADDR2 - Second line of mailing address for the office. 4 MAIL CITY - The city for the mailing address for the office. 5 MAIL ST - The state for the mailing address for the office. 6 ZIP - The zip code for the mailing address for the office. 7 TELE EMP - The employee's direct telephone number 8 EXT - The extension of the employee's telephone number, if any. 9 UPD DATE - The date an update was made to an employee's information (other than caseload) or to branch information. EMP - This line will show the date of last update to employee information and the RACF ID of the person that made that update. BRANCH - This line will show the date of the last update to branch information and the RACF ID of the person that made that update. 21. UPD USER - The complete RACF ID of the person that last updated an employee's information or a branch's information. EMP - This line will show the date of last update to employee information and the RACF ID of the person that made that update. BRANCH - This line will show the date of the last update to branch information and the RACF ID of the person that made that update. 1 TELE BRN - The branch office telephone number. 2 FAX - The branch office fax number. 3 EMP - address of the employee. 4 NET ID EMP - Employee's computer log-in user ID. 5 NARR - This is narrative field that may contain information about the employee's status, special work locations, etc. 6 MSG - Any system messages, including error message. If a worker's RACF ID has been inactivated, it will be indicated in this field. Navigation: F3 - Exits the screen to a clear screen.

8 F5 - Refreshes the screen to begin a new search. F7 - If there are multiple pages, this will page backwards. F8 - If there are multiple pages, this will page forwards. NOTE: If you came into SESR from another screen, the case number will be retained. You may then type over SESR with the name of the screen you wish to go back to.
