1 VitalSource ebook Access Process Log in to Your MBS Account Create an Account, or login to a current one, when purchasing ebooks You must create an account, or login to a current account, with a personal address. ebooks can only be accessed by the address used to purchase. This step must be repeated for each individual student ordering. Add ebook to your cart, check out and pay for the book. To access the book, click on "View Digital Content".

2 View Digital Content Your ebook can be accessed through your account or Your student s ebook will appear on the MBS Direct bookshelf. You will also receive an with a link to activate your ebook purchase(s). Go to My Account, then Digital Content > View Digital Content. Access Content Follow these steps within your account to access an ebook Once you are in your account, you can click on Access Content. You will be prompted to create a VitalSource account (see image below). This is a necessary step in order to download ebooks for mobile use. If you choose not to create a VitalSource account immediately, you will receive future prompts reminding you to complete this step. When creating a Vital Source account, use the same address you used at MBS Direct to purchase the ebook. The two addresses must match for the Vital Source app to synch with MBS Direct and make your ebook available within the app.

4 Subject: Your VitalSource ebook is Available for Download Order The following MBS Digital ebook you ordered from MBS Direct is now available. GREAT GATSBY To access your new ebook, click on the link below (or cut and paste it into your browser) and you will be taken to your MBS Direct Virtual Bookstore. You will be prompted to log into your Virtual Bookstore account. After login you will be taken to the Digital Content section where you can access your ebooks. Click access content to launch your ebook and read online. McGill-Toolen wants all ebooks to be accessed through the app. Follow the steps below to download your ebook to your ipad. 7E46F0B0CDFCFECFC6AD7AF331BE Access ebook offline via Vital Source/ Bookshelf App: A note about accessing the ereader and offline access to your content: There will be a one-time configuration message the first time you access the ereader. You will be prompted to create an account in the ereader. The purpose of registering an account is to enable the content for offline use. Keep the following in mind: 1. If you have used the VitalSource/Bookshelf reader before, enter your valid VitalSource/ Bookshelf credentials and sign in. The log in credentials must match the MBS Direct credentials used to purchase the ebook. 2. If you do not already have a VitalSource account, you may create one by entering the required information and clicking register. Use the same you bought the ebook with at MBS Direct.
