1 Frequently Asked Questions for Sales & Marketing Users 1. How do I access Sales Pulse Portal? Sales Pulse Portal has been added to ORION to allow for secure single sign on (SSO) and so you don t need to create an additional username and password for the portal. To access Sales Pulse Portal, launch ORION Then click on My Applications (at the top left corner of the screen in blue)

2 In My Applications, go to the Marketing & Sales section (at the bottom right) and click on Sales Pulse Portal

3 If you are working remotely and cannot access Orion, you can access the site by visiting and click the log in button at the bottom of the screen

4 Then enter your Bureau Veritas username and password and log in

5 2. Can I access the sales pulse portal on my cell phone or tablet? Yes, the sales portal fits to any screen size. If you do not have access to Orion, you can access the site directly by visiting and log in using your Bureau Veritas username and password using the same process as above. 3. Will we have a mobile application for the sales pulse portal? Yes, a mobile application will also be made available 4. I don t see the markets health, banking & insurance, process, public authorities and manufacturing of industrial goods in the portal, why? These markets have not been included because they do not have global market leaders to have ownership of them and we also have very little or no information to include on these markets at present. This, however, could change in the future and over time the plan is that these markets will also be added to Sale Pulse Portal. 5. How can I see what the client interface of the sales pulse portal looks like? Simply visit and do not log in to view the client interface 6. How are the client and Bureau Veritas user interfaces different in the portal? The client interface looks exactly the same as the Bureau Veritas user interface with the exception of the Sales Kit, the personalization left side bar features and the filter by client profiles feature. In order to know more on how the information you send via links looks to a client visit the videoengaging with client in the Get Started section of the portal:

6 7. How do I send content via the portal To send content to clients you will need to first log in to Sales Pulse Portal. Once you re logged in, you will see the Share this page option that appears on the top right hand corner of the screen and the page you d like to share. Refer to the get started section that has videos on each functionality including engaging with clients.

7 8. Why send links? The portal has been designed to eliminate attachments so that you don t need to worry about file sizes any longer. This said, the system works by generating links to send to client. The links also allow you to know at what moment the client actually clicked on it and how many times they viewed it. 9. How do I download a document from the portal? Once you ve clicked on content you will find at the bottom of the screen certain reader options. Click on the three dots to download the document. Remember all our text documents are in pdf form.

8 10. Where do I get an editable version of the file or document on the portal? Currently, editable versions are available in the local marketing communities. For I&F markets, a good source is the I&F marketing community that can be accessed via the portal under You may be interested in section in the left personalization side bar 11. Can I upload documents to the portal? Yes, as a user you can upload documents to the portal to be sent via the Sales Pulse Portal. However, we suggest keeping this feature limited to documents you intend to send to a client. If you re intending to send multiple documents from a client folder to the client, you can also add the document from the upload document section to the specific client folder to be then sent to client. 12. Is Sales Pulse Portal going to be plugged into the local CRM? At this stage, Sales Pulse Portal is a stand-alone solution. With multiple CRMs, the integration adds to the complexity 13. What about the marketing communities on connections? The local marketing communities will be stopped following the launch and adoption of the portal

9 14. How will I know when content gets updated on the portal? As a user you have access to the updates section in the header of Sales Pulse Portal. Here you can find global updates that you can filter by a given market.

10 15. What if I need to flag an error, missing content or give feedback on the portal? As a user you have access to the feedback system on the portal. Once you re logged in, you can access feedback via the header or use the pop up window bottom right part of the screen 16. Does the portal cover all our services? Yes the portal includes al Bureau Veritas services presented by 10 Markets including CIF, M&O, CPS and GSIT and the cross market services. 17. I don t see services by service lines, why? The objective of the portal is to help sales users to view services by client markets. The client centric portal is designed keeping in mind the fact that you will use the portal to present services to clients in meetings and send content for clients to view. This is a shift from the previous service line approach to a client centric approach.

11 18. I see the portal is in five languages: English, French, Chinese, Portuguese and Spanish. What about other languages? Sales Pulse Portal is available in group s five languages. However, local marketing teams will start to add content for countries and if they decide to translate content into another language, it can be added to the portal 19. When do I start to see country specific information for markets on the portal? Country specific information and services will start to become available on the portal from March Currently, the Power & Utilities content is available for Italy. As a priority, content for key strategic countries - a list of which is given below - will be covered first.

12 20. Who will maintain the content on the portal? Sales Pulse Portal has well-defined governance in place. All global market leaders will be owners of their market content, the contact details have been provided in the footer of the page. Local content ownership and responsibility will lie with the Sales Leader and the Marketing & Sales Leader. 21. Is the portal accessible to all Bureau Veritas employees or is it based on licenses? Sales Pulse Portal is available to all Bureau Veritas employees as the portal will also serve as an onboarding tool for all new hires joining Bureau Veritas. This means access to the portal is not limited to a number of licenses. 22. What are the different uses of a sales portal as a sales user? 13 23. How do I access my personal dashboard? As a sales or a marketing user once you re logged in, you can access your dashboard via the top right corner of the header right under your login credentials 24. How can marketing teams benefit from the portal? Marketing teams will have access to analytical dashboards that will provide KPIs on content performance, top users and clients. This will allow marketing to prioritize content development plans based on data from our sales users and clients. 25. What is a unique link? Sales Pulse Portal allows you - the sales user - to send content via links and know when and how many times the client viewed the content. A unique link is a link generated unique to the ID you entered to create it. This allows the link to track the client s ID. 26. Can I send the link to multiple people at a time? The link is associated to a unique ID, and so if you send the link to multiple clients, the system will only track the first ID you entered and not all the other IDs. The system is not a marketing automation platform and we discourage using it for the purpose.

14 27. Will the information on the corporate website reflect information on our services from Sales Pulse Portal? Yes, this has been planned for. Information on Bureau Veritas services will be presented using information in the sales pulse portal. For more information contact the corporate communications team 28. I am unable to login to Sales Pulse Portal. It says username and/or password not identified. You need to use your single sign on information that you use for ORION to sign in to Sales Pulse Portal. In case you need help with your single sign on username/password, please contact your local helpdesk 29. Where can I watch the user feature videos? All user personalization feature videos for sales users are available in the get started section of the portal Here you can watch video per feature available on the group s five languages - English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Simplified Chinese 30. If a client forwards the link I sent to other people in their organization, will they be able to view the content? Yes, the client can forward the link to their colleagues and they will all be able to view it as well.
