An explainer video simplifies a message in a quick and easy way. Watching a video is less painful than reading lengthy instructions because of how our brain functions. A video allows a human being to use more than one sense by combining visual with audio and in some instances no audio at all is needed. A well-done explainer video maintains your attention and clarifies a subject in a way that the targeted audience can understand. 16 #13 DEMO OR SIZZLE REEL DEMONSTRATION REEL OR YOUR SIZZLE REEL WHICH IS A GOOD WAY TO DISPLAY ALL OF THE THINGS YOU HAVE DONE TO YOUR CLIENTS. This is great if you're a video person, if you are a graphic designer, or a web designer, you can have a compilation reel that will showcase all of the things that you've done in about probably a minute to 2 1/2 minute long video that will be interesting and exciting and look really great for your clients. 17 #14 SLIDESHOW VIDEOS SLIDESHOW VIDEOS ARE CREATED BY COMPILING A SET OF IMAGES TOGETHER. YOU CAN USE AN APP TO CREATE THEM OR SIMPLY UPLOAD TO YOUTUBE AND CREATE A SLIDESHOW If you want to create a video, but you don't have any footage that you can use, but you either have already curated your own photographs from photographs that you've taken or you can always download photographs from places like Pixabay and there are a number of other websites out there where you can procure free, royalty-free images for your business. 18 #15 ANIMATED GIF AN ANIMATED GIF FILE ENCOMPASSES A NUMBER OF FRAMES THAT ARE PRESENTED IN A SEQUENCE This is a cool and funky way to create a video, usually out of stills or footage. It's a fun video that you can share on social media just to grab attention. Canva, Camtasia, Photoshop, PowerPoint and Giphy.com are a few options you can choose from to create your very own GIFS. 20 #17 EVENT VIDEOS CREATE AN EVENT VIDEO, IF YOU'RE A PROMOTER OR AN EVENT PLANNER, AND YOU HAVE FOOTAGE OF EVENTS YOU VE WORKED ON. You can create an event video to promote to potential attendees for the next year's presentation, or record the entire event so that you can sell it at a later date. 21 #18 LIVE PRESENTATIONS (TED TALK) LIVE PRESENTATIONS ARE PARTICULARLY USEFUL IF YOU'RE A SPEAKER AND YOU DO PRESENTATIONS ON A REGULAR BASIS. Promoters, Event Planners or Coordinators usually can set up the recording your live presentations, but if this is not feasible, hire your own videographer. This is a good way for you to get a reel of all of your live presentations. It's also great for you to use so that you can market yourself to obtain future presentations. 22 #19 INTERVIEW INTERVIEW VIDEOS SHOW OFF YOUER ABILITY TO INTERVIEW GUESTS THAT CAN OFFER CONTENT YOUR AUDIENCE IS INTERESTED IN LEARNING. This can be done a couple of different ways. 23 #20 SOCIAL VIDEO POSTS SOCIAL VIDEO POSTS CAN BE USED ON ALL PLATFORMS BUT WORK BEST ON FACEBOOK All platforms are embracing these short videos that are entertaining, informative or inspiring. It s a great way to break through the sea of image or text post floating around. These posts can consist of tips, quotes or thoughts. There are also a slew of apps now available that make creating these apps fun and easy, such as Adobe Spark, Ripl, and Apple Clips are a few apps that enable you to create these short and insightful videos really easily and from your phone. 24 #21 SOCIAL MEDIA (INSTAGRAM) INSTAGRAM USED TO ONLY LIMIT THEIR VIDEOS TO 15 SECONDS, BUT JUST RECENTLY THEY'VE EXPANDED THAT TO 60 SECONDS LONG. If your audience happens to be on Instagram, you can create, again, really engaging and fun videos for that particular market, and it can be footage or a video comprised of still images. 25 #22 YOUR TAKEAWAY VIDEO THE TAKEAWAY VIDEO IS A GREAT PIECE OF CONTENT THAT OFFERS VIEWERS YOUR TAKE ON LIVE PRESENTATIONS OR EVENTS This is a great way for you to give take on what you learned, like or would love to expand on. you can get your audience members interested in going to it next time a synopsis on what they missed and whether it will be worth their time to attend in the future. 26 #23 REVIEW VIDEO REVIEW VIDEO. CREATE A REVIEW OF A PRODUCT, OR FOR A BOOK, OR FOR A SERVICE YOU HAVE PURCHASED AND OFFER YOUR OPINION ON IT. You can give your personal review of a product or service you've tested. You usually can contact the company to let them know that you're interested in creating a review video, although this is not mandatory and sometimes companies may ask you for a video review. 27 #24 VIDEO TOUR VIDEO TOURS ARE GREAT FOR BRICK AND MORTAR OR REAL ESTATE COMPANIES. Brick & mortar firms can feature different departments or just an overall tour of their business so that you can entice prospective clients to come and work with you. Real Estate companies can do use video to create tours of homes that you have listed for sale, along with tours of neighborhoods or towns for relocating clients. This is an excellent way to help your prospects decide what apps, products, websites, services they should use to make their lives easier. For instance, since I'm in video, I might want to do a video where I'm comparing the iphone to an Android in reference to which phone may be better to use to film videos for your business. Use them to direct the viewer to subscribe to your channel on YouTube, to download something that you've offered, either in the video or only expressly on the call-to-action video.
