2 What Are They? QR codes are Quick Response Codes. Two-dimensional barcode that is read horizontally and vertically. It contains nearly 100 times the amount of information compared to the standard one-dimensional barcode. It was developed in 1994 in Japan by Denso Wave to track automobile parts in a Toyota assembly plant.

3 REVOLUTIONARY? Maybe not By no means is the QR code going to revolutionize the educational scene, but it too easy not to use it as another way to reach our community.
