5 Wink: User Guide User guide in pdf format comes in download folder, is a very good walk-through the program, and offers advanced tips Our project today... Wink tutorials are of no value unless they can be made available to the clients and students who can use them to learn new software or enhance their skills in an application. Today we are going to create a wiki, create a Wink tutorial, and then upload the tutorial into the wiki. Since some of you may be new to wikis, the tutorial we are going to create will focus on how to create a wiki. Page 4

7 Wink Creation in 3 Easy Steps Capture screen shots Add callouts, buttons or time delay, and audio Save project, create palette, render, and view Please ask questions using the chat feature at any point that you do not understand what is happening. Wink can be confusing the first time through but is easy to grasp with a bit of practice. Preparation Create a folder in which to save all Wink files Before opening Wink, open up the application you wish to capture screen shots of. In this case, I will open up the webpage because that is the free service I am going to use to create our new wiki. I will size it so that it is approximately 800 x 600 pixels, the ideal size for screen shots Page 6
