1 How to make MetroWorks work for you: Setup Select a dedicated program manager to coordinate and be a point of contact for the MetroWorks program. Your MetroWorks program manager will receive a customizable startup kit during a pre-launch consultation. A Capital Metro representative will help the program manager tailor MetroWorks to meet the needs of your employees/students. Communicate Program managers should share information about MetroWorks with your employees/ students throughout the program s roll-out and at new employee orientation programs. Keep the lines of communication open: Discuss MetroWorks at staff meetings, post information in the breakroom and on your intranet, and include it in your newsletter. Your MetroWorks startup kit includes these customizable MetroWorks communication tools: Employees/Student Introduction Letter Brochures Flyers/posters Templates Maintain You have all of the tools that you will need to successfully tailor, launch and maintain MetroWorks at your business or school. Managing MetroWorks is simple with these forms provided by Capital Metro: Employees/Students Enrollment Form Transit Pass Order Form Order Consolidation Form Pass Pickup Verification Form Ongoing support for your MetroWorks program is just an away. Contact Metro.Works@CapMetro.org.
2 FOR THE PROGRAM MANAGER: Using the MetroWorks startup kit Step 1: Plan Work with a representative from Capital Metro to develop a plan for MetroWorks at your business or school. Step 2: Customize Download and save the materials provided in a folder on your computer. Tailor these forms with your business or school s logo and information before launching MetroWorks. Employee/Student Introduction Letter Brochures Flyers/posters Templates Employee/Student Enrollment Form Transit Pass Order Form Order Consolidation Form Pass Pickup Verification Form Step 3: Educate Post MetroWorks flyers/posters at your business or school. Inform employees/students about the program using the Introduction Letter. The letter can be ed or printed for distribution. Distribute brochures, which can be ed or printed out, to employees/students. Present your MetroWorks program at a meeting with stakeholders, employees and/or students. This is a great opportunity to talk about how the program works, how MetroWorks saves money and to answer questions. Step 4: Enroll Enrolling employees/students in MetroWorks and ordering passes is easy using the Employee/Student Form and Transit Pass Order Form. These forms can be placed on your intranet for ease of access. Ongoing support for your MetroWorks program is just an away. Contact Metro.Works@CapMetro.org.
3 FOR THE PROGRAM MANAGER: Using the MetroWorks startup kit (cont.) Step 5: Purchase Consolidate all pass orders you ve collected using the Order Consolidation Form. Record the distribution of passes using the Pass Pickup Verification Form. Step 6: Communicate There are several ways you can help your employees/students see the benefits of participating in MetroWorks. Offer enrollment to new employees/students during orientation. Include MetroWorks on your staff meeting agendas. Post information, flyers, posters and brochures in the breakroom, in communal areas and/or on your intranet. Feature MetroWorks in your newsletter. Use the Template provided to create your own communications. Step 7: Maintain Regular program maintenance is necessary, but we ve provided the tools to make it simple. Manage the enrollment and purchase processes. Continue to promote MetroWorks among your employees/students. It s that easy. Questions? We want MetroWorks to work for you. Capital Metro offers ongoing support to ensure the success of the program at your business or school. Contact Greg Buford at or greg.buford@capmetro.org if you have questions or feedback. Ongoing support for your MetroWorks program is just an away. Contact Metro.Works@CapMetro.org.
