1 Ricoh SG 30DN - MacProfile IMPORTNT: efore proceeding, ensure the correct Ricoh (OEM) driver and MacProfile have been installed. This allows for a more accurate screen display of your images. However, the accuracy of the displayed image on your monitor depends more on the quality of the monitor and, more importantly, whether or not it has been calibrated with the Monitor Manufacturer s I profile. dobe Illustrator Workspace Setup.) egin by opening Illustrator. 4 4.) When opening or importing images in Illustrator, you may encounter a Missing Profile or Embedded Profile Mismatch warning. For the Missing Profile instance, select the radio button for ssign current working space: srg IE and click OK to continue (see FIGURE 5). For the Embedded Profile Mismatch instance, select onvert document s colors to the working space and click OK to continue (see Figure 5). 5 Printing from dobe Illustrator with the RIOH ficiosg30dn 6.) With the correct color settings entered, you are now ready to print. In the menu bar, click File > Print. 7 D. t the bottom of the Print window, click Page Setup (see FIGURE 8). In the Page Setup window, match your settings to those shown below (see FIGURE 9). a b FIGURE 9 c a. Once Print has been selected, the following Print window will appear (see FIGURE 0). Remember to Mirror the image before printing. You are able to do this within the OEM printer driver or you may choose to manually mirror each image within dobe Illustrator. Ricoh 3300 lassic: sg_sg30dn_rg_sjr_lassic_v.0 Similar to the profile of the previous generation Ricoh 3300 SubliJet-R solution, the Ricoh 30 lassic profile allows replication of legacy prints with minimal color variation for seamless transition when upgrading to the Ricoh 30 SubliJet-R solution. 9 .) lick the drop-down arrow and select Paper Feed (see FIGURE 3). FIGURE 3.) In the paper feed window you are able to select the printer s paper source. We recommend using uto Select unless you have purchased a ypass Tray. For those users printing with a ypass Tray, you will instead select ypass Tray (see FIGURE 4). 12 8.) In the Printer onfiguration window, match your settings to those shown below (see FIGURE 0). FIGURE 0. heck Do not print blank pages. heck Quick Paper Feed. Sheet-dry print delay in duplex: Off 9.) To save your new preset, click the drop-down arrow and select Save as... (see FIGURE ). NOTE: It is very important not to skip this step of saving the preset. If the preset if not saved, subsequent prints will not be correct because the color management settings established through this process will not be properly utilized by dobe Illustrator and the Mac OS. 13 0.) In the Save Preset s: window, name your new preset accordingly and click OK when complete (see FIGURE )..) lick Print to continue (see FIGURE 3). FIGURE FIGURE 3.) You can now print your image by clicking Print (see FIGURE 8). Illustrator setup is now complete. Remember to, if necessary, convert imported graphics to the srg working space, ensure the RG color mode is checked and select the Ricoh SG 30DN along with the Sawgrass preset each time you print.
