1 Getting to Know Keynote on ipad This guide will give you the basic instruction of how to use the Keynote App on ipad. Get to Know Keynote Step 1 To create new presentations and find the ones you ve worked on before, go to the top left corner and tap the Presentations icon. Your progress is automatically saved as you work. Step 2 To create a new Presentation, tap the plus icon on the top left corner of the page. Navigate, Manage, and Rearrange Slides The navigator on the left hand side is where you will find every slide in your presentation. From here, to add a slide, tap the plus icon.

2 Undo Anything can be undone. The Undo tab is located at the top left corner of the page. Touch and hold the Undo button to uncover the redo option. Toolbar buttons Toolbar buttons are located at the top right corner. Select a slide and then tap it again to cut, copy, delete, or skip. To reposition a slide, touch and hold it, then drag it up and down to a new location. Working with Objects Quick Guide: Edit Text Double tap to select the text. Then begin typing.

Tap anywhere to deselect the object, then tap the background and choose Paste. Then move the new object wherever you like.

To resize it, drag the selection handles. To rotate, touch and hold the object with two fingers, then turn.

Tap anywhere to deselect the object, then tap the background and choose Paste. Then move the new object wherever you like. Guides appear when the object is aligned with other objects. Move, scale, and rotate Touch and hold the object and then drag it to a new position. To resize it, drag the selection handles. To rotate, touch and hold the object with two fingers, then turn. Group objects on the slide Touch and hold an object to select it and then add more objects to the selection by tapping them with another finger. Adding Animations Step 1 Tap the animation button to enter animation view.

4 Add Text or Objects Edit the Chart Double-tap the chart to reveal the Chart Data Editor. From here, you can edit your data using the onscreen keyboard. Object Builds In animation mode, tap on the object to build animations Exit Play Mode Double-tap anywhere on the slide to finish presenting.

5 Presenting Your Slides Tap the Play button in the toolbar to display the presentation in full screen. Quick Guide: You may tap once or swipe left to advance to the next slide. Swipe right to return to the previous slide. Object Builds In animation mode, tap on the object to build animations Exit Play Mode Double-tap anywhere on the slide to finish presenting. Sharing Your Work To share your Presentation with others, tap the Tools button and choose Share and Print. Organizing Your Presentations Staying organized Quick Guide: To share, duplicate, or delete a presentation, tap the Edit button and then tap a presentation to select it.

Creating Folders To organize your presentations into folders, touch and hold any presentation, then drag it on top of another. Then create a name for your folder.
