2 1 Control Panel Power Switch (Sub Power Supply) Press to set or cancel the Sleep mode. 2 USB Port Use to connect memory media to the machine via USB. 3 Settings/Registration key Press to specify settings/registration. 4 Counter Check key Press to display the copy and print count totals on the touch panel display. 5 Clear key Press to clear entered values or characters. 6 Stop key Press to stop a job in progress, such as a scan, copy, or fax (scanning only) job. 7 Edit Pen 8 Start key Use when operating the touch panel display, such as to enter Press to start an operation. characters. 9 Canon Advance Basic Fax Operations 1. Touch Fax 3. Once the number is typed in press OK 2. Using the number key pad on the control panel start entering the number 4. Press Start

10 Canon Advance Secured Print Operations To use the Secure Print from your computer go to your print driver and in the properties go to the output method and change it to secured print. Once you make the change you will need to enter a password of your choice. 1. Go to to copier and select the Secured Print Option on the main menu 2. Select the document and press secured print 3. Copier will ask you to enter you password and then will print your document
