2 1. Before Start (Important) 3. Download Please read carefully and follow the instruction below to install Serato DJ Intro. ======================================== Make sure to log on your computer with the administrator account because administrator rights are required when installing the software. For Windows users, ASIO driver is required to be used. Please follow the manual included with your DDJ-WeGO to install the ASIO driver in advance. For Mac OS X users, driver software installation is not needed. Disclaimer: Serato DJ Intro is a product of Serato. In principle, Pioneer is not in the position of answering any inquiries on the usage of the software itself. Please refer to the help menu or access the following support page of Serato: Access the following URL to create your Serato.com user account Click [Serato DJ Intro Mac OS X installer] or [Serato DJ Intro Windows installer] depending on the computer you use. *Please proceed to 3-7 if you already have your Serato account Input your address in the following dialogue box and click [Continue] to receive from Serato. 2. Minimum Operating Environment These are simply the minimum requirements to run Serato DJ Intro. For best performance and for use in professional situations we recommend you use a higher spec computer, preferably with an Intel processor. Windows Windows Vista /Windows 7 (SP1 or later 32/64bit) Intel Core Duo 1.6GHz or better 1GB or more RAM Mac OS X Mac OS X / Display Resolution Intel processor platform 1.6GHz or better 1GB or more RAM 1024 x 768 or better 3-4. Input your password in the next dialogue box. - address Your address is displayed. - Password Input your password in one-byte characters. - Confirm Password Input your password again for confirmation. - Country Select the country where you live Click [Continue] after completing all the fields. The account of serato.com will be sent to you. Cautions Full functionality is not guaranteed on all computers, even those meeting the operating environment requirements described above. Even with the required memory indicated for the operating environment above, lack of memory due to resident programs, the number of services, etc., could prevent the software from offering optimal functionality and performance. In such cases, free up sufficient memory. We recommend installing additional memory for stable operation. Depending on the computer s power-saving settings, etc., the CPU and hard disk may not provide sufficient processing capabilities. For laptop computers in particular, make sure the computer is in the proper conditions to constantly provide high enough performance (for example by keeping the AC power connected). Note that problems may arise with the functionality depending on other software running on your computer. Then, the download will begin. 1

3 4. Installation Choose the location you want to install to and click [Next]. ================================ 4-1. For Windows PC users Browse using Windows Explorer to the location where the Serato DJ Intro download installer was saved, unpack the Serato DJ Intro.zip file and browse to the extracted contents. Double click the file called Serato_DJ_Intro_X.X.X.exe The Setup Wizard screen will appear. Click [Next] Select additional tasks to be performed during installation Accept the License Agreement and then click [Next] Click [Install] to begin the installation process. 2

4 Serato DJ Intro will now be installed. ================================ 4-2. For Macintosh users Browse using Finder to the location where the Serato DJ Intro download was saved. Double click the Serato DJ Intro zip file to unpack. Then, double click the file called Serato_DJ_Intro_X.X.X.dmg Accept the end user license agreement A confirmation screen will appear when the install is complete Drag the file named, Serato DJ Intro to the Applications folder alias located in the Disc Image. Click [Finish] to exit Setup. You can now run Serato DJ Intro from your Applications folder, or drag the application to your dock for quick access. 3
