1 ScanSKU: Picking App User Guide- Google Drive Step 1 Download the App Download the app at the download page here: Install the app onto your Android Device and open it. For most picking users, we also recommend downloading the app null keyboard. This will hide the on-screen keyboard during your pick so you only use the Scanner and Hard-keys on the M Series Scanner. See How do I hide the onscreen keyboard at the bottom of this guide. Step 2 Import Picking Module The stock picking app is a module within the ScanSKU App. To import the picking module: - Click Get Blank Stocktake - Select Picking App from the list using the tick box to the right - Click Get Selected - If import is successful, you will see a success message Step 3 Initial Set-up of Syncing This user guide focuses on using Google Drive to sync orders to your picking device. This section only needs to be completed once before you commence your first pick. A. Log into your Google Drive account. Set up a folder in Google Drive where your order file will be dropped into. You can call this anything such as orders. Or if you have multiple Android Barcode Scanners with multiple Pickers, you should have a separate folder for each Picker e.g. Picker 1, Picker, etc

2 B. On your Android Barcode Scanner, download and install the app from the Google Play store called Autosync Google Drive C. Open the AutoSync App. Firstly connect to your Google Drive account in the App. Secondly, select the folders you d like to sync. The folder on your Android Barcode Scanner is: storage/emulated/legacy/scansku/forms/picking App-media The folder on your Google Drive account is the folder you created in Step A above. If you re using multiple devices to pick, then when setting up device 1 you would select the Picker 1 folder, then when setting device 2, select Picker 2 and so on. D. In the AutoSync App, we recommend these settings enabled - Sync Method: 2 way - Auto Sync: On - Autosync Interval: 5 mins *You can extend the sync interval and even turn auto-sync off, if you d prefer to manually initiate syncing of orders. This will extend the battery life of the device. Your Barcode Scanner and PC are now connected and the initial setup up is complete. Step 4 Inject orders You re now ready to prepare your order file 1. You can download the template for your orders here: 2. In the template copy all your orders into the relevant columns. Save the file as a *.csv file. Ensure the file is saved as orders.csv

3 3. Drag and drop this file into Google Drive into the folder you created earlier. E.g. Picker 1. Any order files already in this folder need to be deleted first. 4. This order file will auto sync with your Barcode Scanner within the interval set in Step 3. D above, or you can open the Auto Sync app and manually sync to commence the pick straight away. Step 5 Commence stock Pick Open the ScanSKU App. Before commencing your first pick, there are some options you can change and set, depending on your preferences. You only required to set these once. In the App, click the 3 vertical dots in the top right-hand corner, then select general settings to access the settings menu. Some key options to review. 1. Constraint processing behaviour- This determines if the app checks the barcode being scanned is correct. It is recommended you change this to validate upon forward swipe for this check to occur. By default, it is set to only check at the end of the whole pick. 2. Navigation- you can switch between forward or backward buttons vs swiping to go to next order. 3. Text font size- Depending on how many fields, and the length of your product names, for each order when you undertake a pick, you may want to make the font smaller or larger to be more user friendly for the picker You are now ready to start your pick. To this by selecting Start new Stocktake, select the Picking App. Scroll through the first screens. The 3 rd screen advises how many orders are on the pick. The first item to be picked will come up, so proceed to that item/location and begin scanning. Step 5 Output of Pick This step is optional depending on your requirements for the output of your pick. The output is the file containing the data around what was picked vs ordered and any reason codes for short picks. You can either transmit no output, or if you wish to transmit the output back to Google Drive here are the steps A. Set up another folder in Google Drive called output B. In the Sync Google Drive, you need to set up a new folder sync for the output file. This will require upgrading the app and paying a small fee

4 C. The new file sync is: On Barcode Scanner: storage/emulated/legacy/scansku/instances/ In Google Drive: The folder you created in Step 5.A Other Notes: The App is customizable. You can change the fields being shown during a pick and the data you wish to capture. You can also modify the app to accept orders in the format your ordering/ecommerce system generates. Please contact us to discuss customization: contact@scansku.com Troubleshooting How do I hide the Onscreen keyboard? By default, the on-screen keyboard will appear when a text field is selected. If you are using the hard keyboard for your application you may not want the on-screen keyboard to appear. To disable the onscreen keyboard completely: Download the app used to hide the keyboard: Once downloaded, install the app by dragging your finger down on the top menu at the top of the screen. Select the downloaded file. Accept all installation messages. 1. Once installed. Go to Settings Language & Input Current Keyboard Choose Keyboards And enable the Null Input Method Return and select current keyboard and select Null Input Method

5 When I enter the picking module, I cannot see any orders This is commonly caused if the order data is not in the correct format. The order file must be saved as a CSV and in the same format as the template file referenced in this guide. If you wish to use a different template (for example show different data when doing a pick) please contact us and we can discuss how to customize. How do I change the order of the pick? The order the app will send the pick in is dictated by the order the pick lines appear in the input file. Therefore, we recommend sorting this data in the order of your pick path
