4 Login to Application System This lesson will teach you how to navigate through the application system for the first time. Point your Web Browser Copy and Paste the following address to your browser: Login Interface 1) Type your USU ID Number (A-Number) 2) Type the password 3) If you do not have a password, click "Retrieve/Forgot Password". a) Once on the "Recovery" page, type the address you have provided the College of Education and Human Services when you submitted your writing exam. -If your address is not found, please contact the Teacher Education and Licensing Office. 4) Click "Login" Read through the Agreement Because it is your first time logging into the system, the next step will bring you to the terms and conditions and overall useful information that will save you time and frustration. Please read through and click whether you agree or disagree. Application System - 4

5 Select Your Location This will provide us with the information necessary to filter through the appropriate advisors and degrees offered. Application System - 5

6 Select Your Major(s) and Minor(s) Choose you appropiate Major(s) and/or Minor(s). Only one (1) Major is required, others are optional. Application System - 6

8 Your Dashboard If you completed all the previous steps successfully, you should now see an application dashboard. This is where all your submitted and saved applications will be stored and displayed. Next Tutorial: Filling out Applications Application System - 8

9 Filling out Applications Login to the system Point your browser to: Type your A-Number, password, and Click "Login". Select the Application Select the application that you would like to fill out. Application System - 9

10 DEMO: Elementary Education For demonstration purposes we will use the "Admission Application to Elementary Education", but all the applications follow the same format. Fill out the required data to the best of your knowledge. Read the attached notes These are important instructions that need to be followed for your application to be fully completed. Cancel, Save, Apply If you click "Cancel", the application that you filled out will not be saved and you will have to start over. If you click "Save", the application will be saved but NOT submitted. This means all the data will be saved and available for later review and submission. Application System - 10

11 If you click "Apply", the application WILL be submitted to your advisor, and you will no longer be able to EDIT the application. However, you will be able to view it and print out on later occassions. Back to Dashboard After clicking any of these buttons, you will be brought back to your Dashboard where it will indicate which action has been taken. Application System - 11

12 Changing Password Login to the system Point your browser to: Type your A-Number, password, and Click "Login" Choose "Reset Password" Application System - 12

13 Change Password 1) Type your old password on the first text box. 2) Type your new password on the second textbox. 3) Type your new password once again. Click "Submit" Confirmation You will receive confirmation that will indicate a successful password change. Application System - 13

14 Changing Personal Information Login to the system Point your browser to: Type your A-Number, password, and Click "Login" Choose "Edit My Info" Application System - 14

15 Edit your Information Confirmation You will receive confirmation that will indicate a successful update. Application System - 15
