6 3 Known Issues First Autotest may fail when switching from Crossover to Twisted Pair or vice versa. For Fiber, if the user chooses a wrong cable type (different from the Adapter), no warning message will be displayed to the user. The network limits list will be empty, since network limits are displayed based on adapter and cable type. Tier 1 testing will also ignore the wrongly selected cable and will use the default value during AutoTest. a. Ex : MMEF adapter plugged in, OS1 Cable selected. If after upgrading your software to Version 7.3, you see an error message ERROR_NO_LIMIT_DATA_FILE, please go to Test Settings > Limits and select a new limit. This error is displayed because the TIA - Cat 8 Draft Channel and TIA - Cat 8 Draft Permanent Link have been renamed. Un-installation of export version 7.2 is required before installing version 7.3 export because of change in default installation directory. Re-Certification for application standards is not allowed. From Version 7.3 on, the PC software will not be supported for Windows XP OS. This is in line with the Microsoft Product Life Cycle. Please click on the link below for details Page 6 of 6
