3 The Coach s Office slideshow program is an add-on to the Coach s Office playbook. The slideshow is used to: Make a slideshow presentation of the Coach s Office playbook o With or without video clips from the video playbook program Save application-compatible images (ACI) in the playbook for use outside Coach s Office o For example, Hudl, ipad, or other programs These instructions are for a slideshow presentation of the Coach s Office playbook. The presentation is created in the playbook and shown in the slideshow. We recommend that you set up your playbook presentation with the presentation page template and consider adding a presentation folder. Presentation Template The presentation template displays the entire formation/play in the slideshow screen in a large window. It also makes it easy to click through the presentation, without scrolling around. The template has the title box and one large box at the top the bottom is empty. The two boxes take up less than half the page and fit perfectly in the slideshow screen. (The template is shown at the right.) Non-Presentation Template You may prefer to use other page templates for your presentations. You can scroll the page using the up/down scroll arrows on the right side of the slideshow toolbar to move around the page. Slideshow Upgrade for Existing Playbook The presentation template is included in new Coach s Office playbook program installs, beginning in mid If you are adding the slideshow program to an earlier Coach s Office license, your playbook file does not have the presentation template in the page template selections. But it is very quick and easy to create it in the pro playbook template builder. See our website tutorials page for the PDF Playbook: Template Builder. Presentation Folder Consider adding a folder at the bottom of the table of contents just for the presentation. For example, insert a chapter above or below the wristbands folder. You can quickly locate it in the slideshow menu, and it will be easy to exclude the pages when printing the playbook. Add a presentation chapter, add pages, and put in the formations and plays. It is that easy. Insert a new chapter at the end of the table of contents. Name the chapter, such as Presentation. Insert a new page and choose the presentation template. Name the page. Define the boxes and add formations/plays as usual. Show the playbook in the slideshow. Open the slideshow from the Coach s Office menu screen. Select the chapter from the playbook table of contents. 4 Click Continue. The first page of the chapter displays in the slideshow window. (fig. 10) Draw on the slides (pages) with the drawing tools, if desired. (fig 9b, fig. 11) Click through the pages of the presentation with the page arrows. (fig. 9a) When finished, return to the Coach s Office menu. Click Return to Coach s Office. (fig. 9b) fig. 6 fig. 7 Slideshow Toolbar At the left are page arrows to click through the pages of the selected playbook. The page numbers in the slideshow start at 1 for the chapter, even though the actual playbook page is something different. (fig. 9a) The drawing tools are in the center. (fig. 9b) Pen colors black, red, yellow, blue Line width 3 sizes Line end with or without an arrow Erase all drawings There are two more buttons: Play Video if you have the video playbook program (fig. 9b) Return to Coach s Office icon (fig. 9b) On the far right are the up/down scroll arrows used to move up and down the page as needed. This is helpful when not using the presentation page template. (fig. 9c) fig. 9a fig. 9b fig. 9c Draw on Playbook Slides The slideshow drawing tools turn your mouse into a telestrator, so you can draw on top of the slides (playbook pages). The original page is not changed. Choose the pen color, line width, and line end. Click and hold down the mouse and move to draw. (fig. 11) 2
