After working with staff from all areas of the school and keeping cost in mind, we have come up with the list of applications, both free and paid.

We ask that all parents seek to ensure that these are installed prior to your child bringing their ipad to school after our registration evening in term 1, 2017.

1 2017 BYOD Program Application List 10th of November, Dear Parents/Guardians, As we continue our BYOD Learning Program at Buninyong Primary School in 2017, a number of applications will need to be installed on your child s ipad. After working with staff from all areas of the school and keeping cost in mind, we have come up with the list of applications, both free and paid. Our teachers are excited and are planning to use these applications in class this year. We ask that all parents seek to ensure that these are installed prior to your child bringing their ipad to school after our registration evening in term 1, One of the many benefits of choosing the Apple ipad range was that we could offer parents a 50% discount on applications through the school purchasing them and then sending out redemption codes to use in the App store. These codes, when redeemed will automatically install the correct application that we require and is really easy to do (There is a How To guide on our school s website). We ask that all parents/caregivers with children in the BYOD Program to now: 1. Install all FREE applications on their child s device. 2. Select which of the PAID applications you will require us to purchase on your behalf using the form attached. (Please note that some applications such as Garageband, Pages, Numbers and imovie now come pre-installed on newer versions of the ipad and won t need to be purchased, so please check your child s ipad to see if they are installed). 3. Calculate the total cost of the paid applications you require. 4. Fill out the payment method you would like to use. 5. Return the form and payment to the office no later than Friday the 10th of February, Attend one of the compulsory BYOD registration evenings to receive your redemption codes and install the applications on your child s device.
