1 Getting Started with Zentrick for Marketo It s fast and easy to integrate Marketo lead forms into any video using the Zentrick smart video platform. Zentrick taps the native interactivity of the Web to make video more actionable and accountable for brands and marketers. Activate any video content or campaign with integrated forms, clicks, commerce, personalization, downloads and countless other response-driven options. To create your first lead-enhanced video, you ll want to open your favorite browser with two tabs: one for Zentrick Studio, and the other for Design Studio in Marketo. This will make it easy to toggle between the two windows quickly. Don t have a Zentrick Studio account yet? No problem. It s simple to sign up at And now we re off to the races. STEP ONE: ADD YOUR VIDEO 1. After logging in, you ll land on your home screen. Click the green Add new button top right to get started. From the pop-up, you ll select Experience and then Add. The next dialog is where you ll add any video for which you own the rights, such as a clip from your YouTube channel or an MP4 video, include some related information, and hit Save. 2. Next, navigate to the design tab in Zentrick Studio. This is where your Marketo app lives (apps are what we call interactive video elements since they are lightweight, and easy to use.) 3. At the top left, you ll find the search box below the text Select an app to add. Type in Marketo Form Tag, and select the resulting app. Note that Zentrick has countless other off-the-shelf interactive apps available that can easily be dragged and dropped onto your video timeline.

2 Once selected, a configuration dialog box will automatically pop up. This is where you ll enter the information specific to your custom Marketo form. Now, give your Marketo form a name. This name will be shown on the interactive tag, and serves as the title at the top of your form, so it s important to make it meaningful for your call to action and your audience. To get your embed code, you ll need to grab that from your Marketo account, which is our next step. STEP TWO: NAVIGATE TO MARKETO 1. Next, navigate to the Marketo form you ve already opened in Marketo s Design Studio tab, and navigate to your forms folder. 2. Your have a choice of selecting an existing webform, or creating a new one. TIP: We recommend keeping your form simple with between three and five fields. It provides the best experience for your viewers and a higher conversion rate! 3. Once your form has been created or selected, simply pull down on the Form Action menu item, and select Embed Code from the menu, as shown below.

3 4. Copy the embed code by selecting the text, and copying it to your clipboard. This is the script you ll add in Zentrick Studio so the two systems can talk to each other. STEP THREE: ADD YOUR EMBED CODE 1. Return back to your Zentrick Studio tab and paste the embed code into the corresponding box. 2. Next, add your custom call-to-action copy for the form submission button. 3. Then, when you click the green Add App button, you ll see a preview of the clickable region associated with the Marketo Tag.

4 STEP FOUR: PERFECT AND PUBLISH You have full control over when, where, and how your Marketo Tag appears in your video. Make sure you re in Design Mode in Zentrick Studio to access these options. 1. Define when and for how long your Tag appears The grey rectangle in your timeline represents your Marketo Form Tag. Simply click and drag the tag into position. The left boundary represents the start point, and the right, the end. To extend or shorten the visible duration, simply click on the end point of the rectangle and resize it accordingly. 2. Specify the location of the Marketo Tag in the video frame In your video timeline editor, scrub to the point when the Marketo Tag appears. In the preview window above it, you ll see a transparent green rectangle that indicates the location of Tag within your video frame. By default, this is the center of the video, but this can be easily click-dragged wherever you want. 3. Customize the appearance of your Tag Next to the Marketo Form Tag text, you ll find two buttons. Select the second one to load the configuration menu that allows you to set (or reset) the options for your Tag s appearance and behaviors. Save changes by hitting Close. TIP: Changes to the form itself must be made in the Marketo Design Studio and reloaded as outlined previously. Voilà! Your form looks great and you re ready to publish Marketo-enabled videos to your website, Facebook, Twitter (some limitation may apply), pre-roll ads, embedded YouTube videos just about anywhere your content goes.
