1 Understanding the Main Screen and Dashboard The PenChecks Pay Portal (P3) main screen and dashboard is shown below, with all the resources you need at a click of a button. As shown below, the left hand side contains a Quick Links box and Search bar for quick access to TPA, Plan Sponsor and Plan Participant accounts. The How Do I quick link will direct you to a page with numerous resources and FAQ s to help assist you with what you need help with. For example, How do I create a distribution? and How do I upload distribution information? This link will direct you to a variety of sources needed to help navigate you around P3. For Check or Wiring Instructions, this quick link will direct you to the Penchecks Funds Remittance Instructions document. This page provides you with the appropriate instructions needed to send over the Plan Name, Beneficiary and Distribution to PenChecks for successful transfer of funds. The Distribution and Customer Files upload links will direct you to downloadable files with instructions and sheets for inputting multiple distribution accounts. Our customer service department will also be available during business hours if additional support is needed.
2 The Search Bar provides a quick search for our users looking to find a specific account. As you can see in the Search Bar drop down in the image below, there are a variety of choices depending on your search. P3 users will be able to search directly for TPA names, Plan names, Plan sponsors and more. Search Bar: The right side of the screen shows the Account View for each account searched and identified on this portion of the screen via the Find Account search bar. You can expand each of the subheaders to show Available Deposits, Unprocessed Distributions and Uncashed Checks. Clicking on Load Account Data will show the available deposits, unprocessed distributions and uncashed checks per account. This is a quick way to identify the current plan names, outstanding distributions and checks out at the moment.

4 Main Menu Tabs and Headers To enable the Menu, you must select an account from either the Account View section or Search Bar. The main menu tab and headers on the top of your dashboard are provided as links and drop downs to access specific areas of an account directly. For example, clicking on TPA Account will give you direct access to viewing a TPA Accounts details (name, address, plans, TPA users, etc.) See test account below. Clicking on Plan Sponsor tab will provide details to all the plan sponsors within that account. You can access other tabs on the main menu such as plans, reports and downloads to have direct access to key reports and excel documents at your convenience. Sample TPA Account:
5 Quick Menu Once you have searched and accessed a specific account, the Quick Menu will show on the left side of the screen. Here you will see several options to choose, including adding a distribution, plan, TPA user, etc. Click on any of the following preferred options and follow the on-screen instructions to perform your action. Support in any of these areas could be reached via our FAQ s tab in the main menu or customer service support line. View and Edit fees Once you have selected an account, you will be able to access the Edit fee schedule and View fee schedule links under the Quick Menu. Here you will be able to view and edit fees associated to either a TPA or Plan Sponsor account. Below are fee details for a sample account in P3 with the following processing services:
6 Penchecks FAQ Page The PenChecks FAQ page can be accessed a few ways, either through the Quick Links section under How do I.. or through the Main Menu under the About tab. Here you will find a variety of drop down topic options to choose from depending on your question. Penchecks provides frequently asked questions to Bulk Uploads, Deposits, Distributions and more. There are also common questions and responses on Reporting, Users and our Search capabilities we provide for all P3 users. The FAQ section is updated as needed based on customer feedback and questions received. Penchecks FAQ Dropdown Menu
7 Reports Page The Reports page can be accessed a few ways, either through the Quick Links section under How do I or through the Main Menu under the Reports tab. Here you will find a dropdown menu of reporting topics available for generating immediately. P3 provides several different types of reports best suited for Plan Sponsors, TPAs or Plan Participants. Once selected, follow the on-screen prompts and instructions to include the information and filters for generating your report. See dropdown menu below:
