1 How to Access the Ayers Institute's INVEST Videos Introduction A series of lesson-length videos is available from the Ayers Institute for Teacher Learning & Innovation. These videos can be used in teacher preparation classrooms across the state. Some are full length Math and ELA lessons, identifying standards-aligned shifts. Others are shorter clips highlighting the implementation of academic standards, including Professional Learning Communities and Teacher Evaluation. This document will show you how to access the video library and how to create your FREE user account so you can view each video. IMPORTANT: To ensure the best experience when using the INVEST Video Library, please use a standards-compliant Web browser. We recommend using either Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. Select a video you would like to view The INVEST Project's "Common Core Video Library" is displayed. By default all videos are shown on pages that contain 12 videos at a time.

You can use the subjects filters (1) or the categories filters (2) to narrow the list of videos to match your particular interest. Select a video and click on its title or thumbnail image. Login or create a FREE user account If you already have a user account for the Video Library, skip ahead in this document to the step entitled "Login to the Video Library.

5 Login or create a FREE user account If you already have a user account for the Video Library, skip ahead in this document to the step entitled "Login to the Video Library." You must create and use a FREE user account before you can access the INVEST videos. (This allows the Ayers Institute to measure the usage of these videos and report on the success of the INVEST project.) Click on the "Sign up for a free membership" link. Then fill-out the 1-page "User Registration" form and click the Save button. Registration success Upon submission of the user registration form, you will receive an onscreen "completion" message. You will need to create a FREE user account and then login before you can view the videos.
