1 Setting Up Your Classroom Account Activating Your Classroom Account Accessing Student Information

2 STEP 1 :: Go to login page STEP 2 :: Enter your login credentials, then click

3 STEP 3 :: Click the next to All about you Pairing Portrait (required for listing) All about you (required for listing) Where you teach (required for listing) STEP 4 :: Enter a short description of what makes you qualified to teach the subject(s) that you do. If you d like, you can also enter a telephone number on which to reach you a blog/website URL, and/or a photo. Once the information is complete, click 2

4 STEP 5 :: Select program info from the my profile dropdown menu STEP 6 :: At a minimum, enter the information that has an * indicator on both the left and right sides of the page, then click. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SCHOOL ID BY AN ADMINISTRATOR OR DIRECTOR, BE SURE TO INPUT IT HERE. 3

5 STEP 7 :: IF YOU ARE PART OF A SCHOOL GROUP, YOU MAY SKIP TO STEP 9. Select where I teach from the my profile dropdown menu. STEP 8 :: At a minimum, enter the information that has an * indicator, then click 4.

6 STEP 9 :: Select pairing portrait from the my profile dropdown menu. STEP 10 :: Complete your Pairing Portrait. NOTE: YOU CAN ALWAYS SELECT AND COMPLETE IT OR EDIT YOUR RESPONSES AT YOUR CONVENIENCE. 5

7 STEP 11 (OPTIONAL) :: Select profile preferences from the my profile dropdown menu. STEP 12 (OPTIONAL) :: Check the Hide fit type checkbox if you don t want to display your compatibility with potential students on Kidzmet. You can also manage your subscription preferences, passwords, billing information and renew your account from this page.

8 ACTIVATING YOUR ACCOUNT :: In order for parents to find you on Kidzmet, for students to connect with you on Kidzmet or to use Kidzmet as a advertising vehicle, you must activate your account. NOTE: IF YOU ARE A PART OF A SCHOOL OR PROGRAM AND HAVE STUDENTS ASSIGNED TO YOU...AND DO NOT WISH TO CONNECT WITH POTENTIAL STUDENTS THAT ARE NOT ASSIGNED WITH YOU VIA KIDZMET, YOU CAN SKIP THIS STEP. TO ACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT :: Click the of your teacher homepage. button on the bottom left side Then, just fill out the form on the linked page and click. Voila! Parents searching for a teacher just like you can now find you on Kidzmet. Your teacher home page will also now show how much longer you have in your Kidzmet contract term. You can renew your membership up to one month prior to your contract expiration.

9 ACCESSING STUDENTS WHOSE PARENTS HAVE LINKED TO YOUR PROFILE :: Select dashboard from the connections dropdown menu. ACCESSING STUDENTS WHOSE PROFILES HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED TO YOU BY YOUR PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR/MANAGER :: Select assigned students from the connections dropdown.

10 TO VIEW A STUDENT S SNAPSHOT :: Which provides recommended teaching approaches to use based on personality type, preferred cognitive style, interest entry points and multiple intelligence preferences, simply click the student s name in your connections dashboard. Their Snapshot will appear in the grass section below. To a copy of the Snapshot to a student s parent, simply click To print out a copy that s been formatted for a printed page, click

11 TO VIEW THE CLASS STRENGTHS GRID :: Which gives you an overview of the strengths and learning preferences of your class mix, click in your dashboard. The grid will appear below. Access Snapshots by clicking the student s name. Dig into a deeper MBTI personality type profile by clicking the Myers-Briggs Result. HELPFUL HINT: Give substitute teachers access to your Kidzmet account so that they can better assist your students with lessons and concepts.
