4 business continuity CURRENT CTS CHALLENGE IBM Collaboration Tools Suite (CTS), has entered its end-of-life phase. It will no longer be supported by IBM. We need to change the tool.

12 business continuity CURRENT CTS CHALLENGE The new IEC Collaboration Tools Suite will be introduced in several phases. The first phase will replace the tool with the existing set of functions. In the following phases, more functions will be added.

13 business continuity CURRENT CTS SOLUTION The objective of this first phase is to ensure business continuity. 1. Migrate all content 2. Provide existing functionalities: file sharing, discussions, notifications. 3. Address key users issues 4. Offer an easy to use user interface.

22 2017 December 20 Completion of the first development phase: staging platform ready for content migration to initiate the validation period January, weeks 2 3 Migration of existing content on test platform and quality checks by project team 2017 December 2018 March January, weeks 3 4 One-to-one communication with all CTS business groups for each business group, individual communication to kick-off validation period once quality checks passed 2018 April 1 Migration of all content to the production platform. Once a business group has given final validation, ALL content for the business group will be migrated. (All IEC TC/SC and Management Committee workspaces will be migrated at the same time.) The old CTS will remain accessible in read-only mode until end Q Business Group users start working on the production version of the new IEC Collaboration Platform
