2 On-Line Application The on-line application process is being piloted for teachers applying for advertised teaching positions in the Teacher Assignment and Transfer Program (TATP) Posting #1 and #2 in the Kauai District for the School Year. A separate on-line application is required for each position being applied for. Important Message: For all other advertised positions outside of the Kauai District, please submit Form DOE OHR to the school/district that s advertising the vacancy. A. Getting Started 1. Access the Department of Education (DOE) Electronic Human Resources (ehr) homepage by inputting this web address: 2. Log into the DOE s ehr website by entering your User name A and Password. B Your User name is your employee ID number. Your Password is your DOE internet password. Important Message: If you do not have a DOE internet password or are experiencing log-in difficulties, please contact the Customer Service Desk at (808) between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Hawaii standard time, Monday through Friday except for State/Federal holidays. 3. 3 B. Applying for a Position Using the On-line Application Process 1. Review the information contained in: System Message. D 2. When ready, click the Apply for Jobs button. E D E 3. Welcome to the Hawaii Department of Education Employment Opportunities screen. Click the section containing the words: Teacher Assignment and Transfer Program #1 (Internal). F Important Message: Only teachers who are eligible to participate in TATP are granted access at this point. If your screen contains the verbiage mentioned in the sentence above, you will need to contact the Teacher Reclassification Unit at (808) to discuss the matter of eligibility. F 3

To apply on-line to another advertised vacancy in the Kauai District click the Teacher Assignment and Transfer Program #1 (Internal). Kk 2. To review or go to any of your on-line applications, select the position you want to review or go to and click either the Review Application or Go To Application. Ll 14

15 Kk Ll Mm NOTE: To withdraw an on-line application, the Application Status Mm must read Pending Submittal which indicates that you did not submit your application yet. The system will not allow you to withdraw your application if the application status reads Submitted. FYI: It is possible for submitted on-line applications to be withdrawn. For this to occur, teachers need to contact the school/office that advertised the vacancy, and notify them of your intention to withdraw your application for that position. 15
