Publication and dissemination of IP information (trademarks, patents, designs). The search capabilities include indexed bibliographic and full text information, legal status, citations and image information.

7 7 Home Page Features Explained 1. Application Name and Logo: This section displays the name of application and Logo. Please note that this LOGO is of WIPO s by default but it can be changes to that of the office. Customization of the WIPO Publish can be done via Theme Settings. 2. Language Switch: This section allows switching between languages. Links displays the web page content in the given language ( English, Arabic, French and Japanese) 3. Links to other search pages: This section allows to switch to search pages of other entities such as Patents, Trademarks, Industrial Designs and EDMS if available. 4. Search Option Tabs: This section allows the advance search 5. Search Text Box : This search is full-text search which signifies that the specified keyword is searched across the entire bibliographic data of Trademarks and not just the name of the Trademark 6. Search Results Pane: This section displays the results generated from the search operation

8 APPLYING FILTERS 8 This feature allows to curtail the search results by selecting one or multiple pre-defined filter options thereby improving the search functionality. The steps to accomplish this feature are described below: Click on the Funnel icon as highlighted in the screen below to open the filter pane

9 9 APPLYING FILTERS Conti. The filter pane contains various parameters with pre-specified values. Select the appropriate filter options and click on the left as shown in the screen :

10 APPLYING FILTERS Conti. 10 Multiple filter options can be applied simultaneously to narrow down the search results considerably. This is evident in the screen below which displays a single search result after application of three filters as follows

11 VIEW SWITCHING This feature allows to change the layout which displays the search results. The user can select from a set of pre-defined layouts / views. The steps to accomplish this feature are described below: Click on the Grid View icon as highlighted in the screen below: 11

15 VIEW / DOWNLOAD DETAILS This feature allows to view and download the detailed information regarding a specific Trademark application. The steps to accomplish this feature are described below: A. 18 18 ADVANCED SEARCH This feature allows to search the published data by specifying multiple parameters simultaneously. This facilitates more precise search than the full text search. The applications fulfilling all the search criteria are displayed. The parameters which are displayed under the Advanced Search pane are configurable
