3 MyOPAC Login page 10-digit number 8-digit number : YYYYMMDD Click here to register your password 1) type in your UserID(10-digit number printed on your student or employee ID card) and birthday, and click the Login button 2) set your password Your UserID To log in to MyOPAC, type in your User Code(UserID) and your password, and click the Login button. *You can log in to MyOPAC from off-campus as well. 4 Locating a specific book Step 1: Check whether the book is available at UT: Practice Search 1 Let s search for books about academic writing. Write down the relevant call numbers. 6 Advanced Search page Search effectively by conditions! Limit by the location. Search by restricting search conditions to "Subject." When searching for titles such as Science that contain just one word, using Full title will bring up only those titles that are a complete match for the word entered. 8 Locating a specific journal article Step 1: Finding articles with E-journals by using UT OPAC Practice Search 3 Let s try to search for this article cited in a bibliographical reference list. 11 How to access databases and e-journals from home SSL-VPN Gateway Service When you have your Educational Campuswide Computing System(ECCS) account, you will find that a variety of web services can be accessed from home or other campus locations. 12 Using online services (databases, e-journals etc.) Sign out of the SSL-VPN Gateway Service * When finished using the library online services, sign out of the SSL-VPN Gateway by clicking the Exit Door icon on the upper right of your web browser.
