1 1 PRELIMINARY OPERATIONS Please make a copy of all files saved onto ARAG pendrive before starting the installation procedure so to have a program copy for safe installation in case the hard disk should be replaced or formatted. Once installed, SKIPPER NAVIGATOR MANAGER can only be used if the original USB pendrive is connected to a USB port of the computer. 2 INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE Insert the pendrive into the USB port of the computer. Should the installation procedure not be automatically started, select SETUP.EXE onto the pendrive. Select installation language and then press OK. Press Next > to accept default installation folder. Press Next >.

2 Press Install. For correct operation SKIPPER NAVIGATOR MANAGER requires a MICROSOFT.NET package. If this package is not installed on the computer, the following will show: Select the item I Agree and then click onto Install. Note: Once.NET installation has been completed the system may need to be rebooted. Program installation procedure will start on.net installation completion or if.net is already installed.

3 3 - SKIPPER NAVIGATOR MANAGER 4 PRELIMINARY SETTINGS Select program language Select View > Language > and then the required language Select unit of measurement Select View > Unit > and then US (imperial units) or Metric (metric units). Edit user data User data will be printed onto the report. Select Edit > User Data. NOTE: Company logo should be in one of the following formats: TIF, PNG, BMP.

4 5 KEY FUNCTIONS Save created/edited file in.skrg format Open a map for Skipper Navigator Manager (file.skrg) Import.GND file as generated by SKIPPER Once data are copied onto the pendrive, use this command to import them into SKIPPER NAVIGATOR MANAGER. Display the whole map to fit screen. Zoom In: Magnifies the map with respect to screen centre. Zoom Out: Reduces the map with respect to screen centre. Select cursor (cancels current operation in any other selected mode). Select tool for measuring linear distance between two points Select ; click at the beginning of the line to be measured with the plus cursor (+), click to set line end. Measured distance will be displayed under the selected line. Select the line with and press [del] to delete the selected line. Select tool for measuring a rectangular area Select, click onto the corner at selection start with the plus cursor (+), move to opposite corner and then click. Measured values will be displayed under the selected area. Select the area with and press [del] to delete the selected area. Select tool for measuring an irregular area Select, click onto selection start point with the plus cursor (+), set the other points by clicking onto them and click with right mouse button to close the area. Measured values will be displayed under the selected area. Select the area with and press [del] to delete the selected area.

5 Add one or more points of interest (see description). Show/hide reference track as marked by A and B. Show/hide perimeter of a field area as detected during the job. Show/hide sprayed tracks. Show/hide farm machine path during which no spraying has been performed. Show/hide user s level. Show or hide all that has been created by the following tools: Show/hide points of interest (flags) Open list of points of interest with their descriptions. Show/hide data board. When grey instead of yellow- buttons are disabled, i.e. the corresponding function is not active and can not be used within current mode. Turn mouse wheel to zoom in or out taking the pointer as central point of origin.

6 6 COPYING DATA FROM SKIPPER TO PENDRIVE Connect the USB pendrive to the HOST port when Skipper is on. IMPORTANT: Skipper should be powered. 1 2 When on main menu select Files copy > Confirm Then shift cursor onto Skipper - > Pendrive > Confirm 3 4 When on menu select Jobs > Confirm Shift to the job to be exported with cursor keys and then select Confirm 7 IMPORTING DATA FROM USB PENDRIVE TO SKIPPER NAVIGATOR MANAGER Insert the pendrive into the USB port in the computer and start the program. Select File > Import GND or click onto Select the file to be imported IMPORTANT: Do not use the USB pendrive to permanently store data downloaded from Skipper. Data saved onto the pendrive may be accidentally deleted and lost. Save Skipper original file onto a hard drive or a CD after data checking or editing.

7 8 POINTS OF INTEREST (flags) The program graphic track includes different points of interest as flags to show job start point, ground general points, return point in the field and user's points which can be inserted simply by selecting the button here below and clicking any map points with the mouse. Job start point General point Return point User s point Position the mouse onto a flag to read the notes. Click onto the flag with the mouse right button to edit the notes. User s points (blue flags) can be deleted. 9- PLAYER Skipper Navigator Manager has a player which allows to see past spraying in details. Open Player. Player control board. PLAY Player control board. PAUSE Player control board. STOP The Player also has two active scroll bars allowing to select play position (Position) and play speed (Speed) at any time.
