Installation of OTRS. (1)Insert OTRS installation disc into the CD / DVD drive. The explanation below is based on Windows 8.1.

2 Before installing OTRS, please check your computer and Windows OS conform to the system requirements. Particularly, if Microsoft Speech Platform Runtime ver.10 is installed in your PC, you need to uninstall it. You can see the state of installation and the version at Uninstall a program in Control Panel. Please refer to Section 2 Uninstallation of OTRS" of this Install Manual. Installation must be operated by a user who has the administrator privilege of the Windows OS. Do not insert USB protect key to your PC before installation. If User Account Control is effective, security caution will be displayed on the screen. Please proceed with the installation by clicking 'Yes'. (1)Insert OTRS installation disc into the CD / DVD drive The explanation below is based on Windows Insert OTRS installation disc into the CD / DVD drive. If AutoPlay is enabled, a window appears, allowing you to choose what to do with the disc. 2.Select [Run Setup.exe]. The installation process starts. 3 If nothing happens when you insert the disc, right-click the CD/DVD drive in Explorer and select [Open AutoPlay]. [Run Setup.exe], and [OTRS10 Setup] window will appear. 4 Sentinel Runtime is installed. Visual C Redistributable is installed. If Microsoft.NET Framework has not been installed, it's installed automatically. At the end of installation of Microsoft.NET Framework 4.6.1, a message of restart may appear. [Restart immediately] button and PC restarts. After the restart, the installation continues automatically. When installing OTRS10 on Windows 7, Microsoft Speech Platform is installed. (As for Windows 8.1, it has the software as build-in, so the window of the right doesn t appear.. [OTRS10] window appears. (ii)otrs10 1. [Next] button. 4 Copyright Broadleaf Co.,Ltd. 5 Software License Agreement appears. 2.Read the Agreement, click [I Agree] button and [Next] button [Select Language] appears. 3.Select the language to use, and click [Next] button. 1.Select 2. [Select Installation Folder] appears. If you install to a different folder, click [Browse...] button. You might make new folders at your disposition. 4. [Next] button. Copyright Broadleaf Co.,Ltd. 7 (iii) Additional Installation Please execute the following file in the installation DVD after finishing installation of OTRS10. AddInst NDP461-KB x86-x64-AllOS-JPN.exe.NetFramework Japanese Language Pack will be installed. (3)Check the installation After the successful installation, a short-cut icon is created on the desktop. In addition, a set of OTRS programs is added to the program list. If they are not found, scroll the window right. Please insert the protect key to your computer when you launch OTRS. 8 2. Uninstallation of OTRS OTRS can be uninstalled as described below. 1. You can uninstall OTRS using [Control Panel]-[Uninstall a program]. [Uninstall or change a program] appears. 2.Right-click OTRS10 and select [Uninstall]. 3. [Yes] button to start uninstallation. When finished, the dialog will be closed.
