4 TurboStream for Win PC - Download and Install the TurboStream software TurboStream is software which allows users to unblock geographical restrictions and watch IPTV, Movies and & Videos worldwide at high speeds and without buffering. TurboStream gives your device an electronic address in a location where the content you want to access is available. The service works on computers, smartphones, smart TVs, streaming boxes and routers. Download and install the TurboStream software Open your Internet browser and navigate to ocshield.com/mob/myaccount/downloads.php. Click on the file name that corresponds with your Operational System. When prompted, save the file. Once the installer file is downloaded, run the file. If you are prompted with a Windows Security Warning, click the "Run" button. The installer will unpack and prepare the files to start the installation. Proceed with the installation by following the on-screen instructions of the Installation Wizard: User Account Control Warning Click the "Yes" button to proceed. Please note that depending on your Windows User Account Control settings, your Windows might ask you to enter your Windows Administrator credentials in order to proceed with the new software installation. 5 Select your Language Select a language for your TurboStream software interface from the drop-down list and click the "OK" button.select your Language Please note that should you change your mind later on, you can always switch the language directly from the Help menu of your TurboStream software. Welcome Screen Read the information provided in the Welcome Screen and click the "Next" button TurboStream for Win PC - 5

6 Accept License Agreement Read the OC Shield Ltd (Publisher of TurboStream) End User License Agreement. If you agree with the License Agreement, click on "I accept the license agreement" and click the "Next" button. If you don't agree with the OC Shield End User License Agreement, click the "Cancel" button. The installation will then terminate as you cannot proceed with the installation unless you agree with the License Agreement. TurboStream for Win PC - 6

7 Setup Options Setup Options screen allows you to select additional tasks you would like the Installation Wizard to perform before completing the TurboStream setup and choose an installation path for the software. You can keep the default installation path for your TurboStream software or choose a different one. Choose a different installation path for your TurboStream software by clicking the "Browse" button. Click the Back button to proceed with the installation process. TurboStream for Win PC - 7

8 Security Notice Read the information provided in the Security Notice and click the "Install" button. The TurboStream setup will download the remainder of the setup file and install TurboStream on your computer. TurboStream for Win PC - 8

9 Completing the setup Finish the Setup When the installation is complete, click the Finish button. TurboStream for Win PC - 9

10 Congratulations! You have successfully installed TurboStream. Your TurboStream installation is complete and ready-to-use. You can now launch your TurboStream software by double-clicking the TurboStream icon on the desktop or by clicking on the TurboStream icon in the "All Programs" folder in your Windows Start Menu. 11 TurboStream for Win PC - How to Activate your License Activate the software with your License Number Into the empty field, add your License Number Activate the software with your License Number Make sure that your computer is connected to the Internet and enter your License Number exactly as it s printed on the box or appears in the we sent you when you purchased TurboStream. Use copy-paste shortcuts (ctrl+c ctrl+v) to avoid errors. Then click Activate. Please note that activating and using TurboStream requires an active Internet connection. TurboStream for Win PC - 11

12 Congratulations! Your TurboStream software is ready to use. Once the software is activated, it is fully operational and ready to use. Two drop-down lists are available to choose from: Select Region and Select Channel. TurboStream for Win PC - 12

13 TurboStream for Win PC - How to Use Use your TurboStream software: Select Region The Region drop-down list is located in the main screen of your TurboStream software. Regions include geographical locations as well as your Favorites, Popular TV Shows and Popular Movies. All Regions provides the list of All the Channels available. Channels are links to 100+ content providers such as Netflix, BBC, Sky, Hulu and Vudu. To differentiate regional Channels, click on a country Region such as the USA. TurboStream for Win PC - 13

15 Select a Specific Channel and Stream After selecting Region and selecting a specific Channel such as Netflix, click on Stream to open the Channel in your default browser and begin streaming. You may only open one Channel at a time. If the Channel is a premium Channel, such as Netflix, you will have to pay the subscription (the first month is for free). Stop Streaming to select a different Channel When streaming, the Stream button switches to Stop Streaming. Click on Stop Streaming, select a different Channel. Now the Stream button will turn green and you may click Stream to select another Channel. TurboStream for Win PC - 15

16 Channel Icons Channel Icons provide useful information about the content of the Channels. Legend of Channel Icons Free Channels provide hundreds of free TV shows and films. Premium Channles provide hundreds of Paid TV shows and films. Pay per View allows you to pay for one TV show or film at a time. The drop down menu and Channel Icons provides thousands of TV Shows, Videos and Films to chose from. TurboStream for Win PC - 16

17 Setting your Favorite Channel To set a Channel as your Favorite in the main screen of your TurboStream software click on the Channel drop-down list and select a Channel that you wish to set as your Favorite. Right-click on the Channel and select the "Favorite" option. Setting your Favorite Channel After the action is performed, you will have set the Server Location of your choice as your Favorite. From now on you will see the golden star icon to the left of this Channel. Please note that you can un-set or set a different Channel as your Favorite at any time. To un-set your Favorite Channel click on the Channel drop-down list and select the Channel marked as "Favorite". Right-click on the Channel and de-select the "Favorite" option. After the action is performed, you will have un-set your Channel. From now on you will no longer see the golden star icon to the left of this Channel. To set a different Channel as your Favorite select a new Channel that you wish to set as your favorite. Right-click on this Channel and select the "Favorite" option. After the action is performed, you will have un-set your old Favorite Channel and set the new Channel of your choice as your Favorite. From now on you will see the golden star icon to the left of the new Channel. TurboStream for Win PC - 17

18 You may set as many Favorite Channels as you like. Your Favorites will be listed in alphabetical order. TurboStream for Win PC - 18

19 TurboStream for Win PC - System Tray & Windows Start Menu System Tray Menu The system tray menu of your TurboStream software can be accessed by right-clicking on the TurboStream icon in the system tray of your Windows (right - bottom corner of your screen). To open the main screen of your TurboStream software, right-click on the TurboStream icon in the System Tray and select the "Open TurboStream" option. To completely quit your TurboStream software and stop all the Windows processes related to TurboStream, right-click on the icon in the system tray and select the "Quit TurboStream" option. To reopen the software click on your desktop icon and the TurboStream software will re-launch. TurboStream SysTray Icon When TurboStream is not connected, the Connection Status in the system tray menu will indicate a red dot in the icon in the system tray. TurboStream SysTray Icon To connect to TurboStream from the System Tray menu when the program is launched but not streaming, select the "Stream" option. This option will only function when a Channel has been selected in the main face of the TurboStream software. If no Channel is chosen, the Stream option in the System Tray is greyed out. If the Stream option is on and clicked, the default Channel in the software will be launched and the TurboStream System Tray icon will indicate a green dot in the icon in the system tray. 20 Windows Start Menu Various useful shortcuts can be found in the TurboStream folder in your Windows Start / All Programs menu. To locate the TurboStream folder in your Windows Start / All Programs menu, click the "Start" button and then "All Programs." Scroll down the list until you see the TurboStream folder and click on it to open. To launch your TurboStream software, select the "Launch TurboStream" option. To open the TurboStream Homepage in your Internet browser, select the "TurboStream Homepage" option (requires an active Internet connection). To open the TurboStream Support Desk page in your Internet browser, select the "Support Desk" option (requires an active Internet connection). To uninstall TurboStream, select the "Uninstall TurboStream" option. To open the TurboStream User Manual, select the "User Manual" option. TurboStream for Win PC - 20

21 TurboStream for Win PC - Options & Preferences TurboStream options and preferences Access the main menu of your TurboStream software by pressing the "Menu" button in the main screen of your TurboStream software. The main menu provides access to all of the software options. Select any item from the menu by clicking on it. TurboStream for Win PC - 21

22 Change the Language of your TurboStream software interface To change the language of the interface of your TurboStream software, in Help menu access the "Language" tab. There, click on the "Change Language" drop-down list and select a new language for your TurboStream software interface. Click the "Apply" button to apply the new language. After the action is performed, the software will apply the new language to your TurboStream software interface. Click the "Close" button to close the Help menu and return to the main menu of your TurboStream software. Please note that it's not necessary to res tart the software. TurboStream for Win PC - 22

23 Find your TurboStream Software Version Click on About to find the current version of your TurboStream software. TurboStream for Win PC - 23

26 TurboStream for Win PC - Version Update Guide Update The "Update" item in the main menu of your TurboStream software allows you to manually check for version updates available. Check for updates automatically The first time you run your TurboStream software, you will be prompted to select whether you want your TurboStream to check for updates automatically. Please note that once selected, you will not be able to change this preference unless you uninstall the software and install it again. To enable your TurboStream to automatically check for updates, click the "Check automatically" button. Your TurboStream will check for a new version every time you launch the software. When a new version is found, it will ask your permission to update your TurboStream software. If you click the "Don't check" button, your TurboStream software will not check for updates automatically. You can always manually check for updates any time by clicking on the "Update" button in the main menu of your TurboStream software. TurboStream for Win PC - 26

27 Checking for updates To manually check for updates, click the "Update" button in the main menu of your TurboStream software and allow the software to check for updates. You're Up to Date If your TurboStream software version is currently the newest version available, you will see a software update pop-up window indicating that "You're up to date". Click the "Close" button to return to the main menu of your TurboStream software. TurboStream for Win PC - 27

28 A new version of TurboStream is available If a new version of TurboStream is available, you will see a software update pop-up window indicating that "A new version of TurboStream is available". While it is highly recommended to install all the software updates, you can choose to: Skip this version - You will not be prompted to update your TurboStream software version until the next version is released. Remind me later - You will be prompted to update your TurboStream software version the next time you launch the software. Install update - You will immediately initiate the update process. Please note that installing the updates requires an active Internet connection. Please also make sure to read "Release notes" for the new version before you begin the update process. The release notes may contain important information about issues you might run into during and after you install the update. After you initiate the update process please follow the same steps as above in: Download and TurboStream for Win PC - 28

29 install the TurboStream software Once the update process is finished, your TurboStream software is up to date and ready-to-use. TurboStream for Win PC - 29

30 TurboStream for Win PC - Help Menu Open Help Menu Click on the "Help" icon in the main menu of your TurboStream software to open the "Help" menu. The "Help" menu provides you with access to a number of useful tools, which allow you to reactivate your TurboStream with a different license number, generate and send us your support file, change the language of your TurboStream software interface as well as identify your version number. 31 Reactivate your TurboStream software with a new License Number If you bought a new license number and need to reactivate your TurboStream with it, there is no need to reinstall the software. To reactivate your TurboStream with a new license number, in Help menu access the "Tools" tab. There, tick the "License Number" option and then click the "Delete License Number" button. 32 Access Tools Tab to Delete your License When your TurboStream prompts you with a Warning, make sure to make a note of your old license number and click the "Delete License" button to confirm the action. After the action is performed, the software will restart and the software activation screen will appear. TurboStream for Win PC - 32

33 Send us your Support File Should you run into a technical problem with your TurboStream software and request technical assistance, you may be asked to send us your Support File. To generate and send us your Support File, in Help menu access the "Tools" tab. There, tick the "Support File" option and then click the "Send File to Support" button. Please note that sending us your Support File requires an active Internet connection. TurboStream for Win PC - 33

34 Sending us your Support File Allow the software to automatically generate and send us your support file. After the action is performed, a "Support File has been sent" message will appear and a new online support ticket will be opened on your behalf. Review the information in the support ticket and act accordingly. Click the "Close" button to close the Help menu and return to the main menu of your TurboStream software. 35 TurboStream for Win PC - My Account Menu My Account is found in Options The "My Account" menu provides you with real-time information about your TurboStream account. To access your information about your TurboStream account, click on the "My Account" icon in the main menu of your TurboStream software. Every time you click on the "My Account" icon in the main menu of your TurboStream software, the software will open the "My Account" menu and request the real-time information about your TurboStream account. Please note that viewing your My Account information requires active Internet connection. TurboStream for Win PC - 35

36 Understanding My Account information License Number: The license number with which your TurboStream software is currently activated. The last 6 digits are masked for security reasons, but you can always view your license number in full online in your dedicated TurboStream Client Area. The license number in My Account is cop-able in case you need to provide it when contacting support. Expiration Date: The license number with which your TurboStream software is currently activated will stop working at 0:00 CET on this date. Licensed to: The address used to purchase or register online the license number with which your TurboStream software is currently activated. Use it whenever you log in to your TurboStream Client Area online or when contacting support. Bandwidth: Shows your unlimited TurboStream bandwidth. Each TurboStream account comes with an unlimited bandwidth plan which means you can stream as much as you like. To manage your TurboStream account (renew or request license cancellation) as well as view or change your TurboStream account details, go to your dedicated secure online Client Area by clicking the "Client Area" link in the My Account menu. Login is automated and doesn't require TurboStream for Win PC - 36

37 entering your login credentials unless you disallow it (an option in your Client Area), in which case you will have to enter your login credentials to access your Client Area online. Click the "Close" button to exit the My Account menu and return to the main menu of your TurboStream software. If your TurboStream software is temporarily unable to receive the real-time information about your TurboStream account, the error message will appear. You can try again later or access the same real-time information about your TurboStream account (and even more) directly in your dedicated secure online Client Area. Please note that viewing your My Account information requires an active Internet connection. Click the "Close" button to exit the My Account menu and return to the main menu of your TurboStream software. TurboStream for Win PC - 37
