Perform the Installation of order-it 3. In this case the MS Message Queuing (MSMQ) has presumably not been installed. Please refer to chapter on page 16. Step 4: Define the Kiosk Data Directory After system check has finished install-it will show a dialog which permits to define the kiosk data directory. Please select either a target directory or create a new folder on a local disk. The kiosk data will be stored in a sub directory of the selected folder named kioskdata. 22
Perform the Installation of order-it Be advised to not use the local disk containing the system data for the kiosk data. It is better to use another local disk, if available, as data drive. Press [OK] after having selected the kiosk data directory. Step 5: Start the Installation Process As soon as you have determined the kiosk data directory the installation process can be started. Press [Start installation]. 23
Perform the installation of order-it Step 6: The update process A program named update-it will now perform the particular configuration and setup steps which are part of the installation. This installation process will take a while. Please be patient. When the installation process is complete the system will be restarted. Step 7: Start configure-it order-it will be started now for the first time. Since some configurations still have to be modified a message box will pop up and will ask you to start configure-it which is the main configuration program of order-it. Proceed by inserting the Service card into the smart card reader and then pressing or clicking the [Start configure-it] button. 24
Step 8: configure-it: Define the Identification Data Perform the Installation of order-it Within configure-it first of all the identification data must be determined. 26 Perform the installation of order-it Further data should be adjusted according to the conditions: - Language - Country - Currency And in case of more than one order-it kiosk should be operated in the same area/shop/network, for each kiosk a unique Kiosk ID should be set - Kiosk ID For further details about Identifications please refer to the configure-it manual. Complete this configuration step by pressing the [Save settings] button. 26

After having selected the Export_Lite.zip file press the [Restore configuration] button in order to invoke the restoration process. The restoration is carried out by a special restoration tool named restore-it. For that reason configure-it will terminate and will start restore-it. The restoration process will take some time. 28
Perform the Installation of order-it When the restoring has been completed press the [Ok] button. Afterwards, configure-it will be restarted. 29
Perform the installation of order-it Step 10: configure-it: Enable the Production Devices (Printers) As last step within configure-it it is necessary to enable the used production devices.
