1 Quick Links: Installing Citrix Receiver Logging into the RoseASP Environment Logging Off for the Day SET IE 11 Compatibility Settings User Setup and Login Instructions for RoseASP Before initially logging into the RoseASP cloud application hosting environment, it is necessary to install a piece of software that allows communication and authentication with the Citrix-based host. Installing Citrix Receiver (Top of the Page) 1. Go to this link and download and install Citrix Receiver: This URL will bring you to this web page in your web browser: 2. Click the Download Receiver button. You will be presented with the following Citrix License Agreement page:

2 3. Click the I agree to the terms of the Citrix License Agreement checkbox, then click the Continue button. You will be presented with this web page: 4. Follow the directions for installing the Citrix Receiver presented on this page as you proceed. Notice in this screenshot you will also be presented with a dialogue box asking whether to Run, Save or Cancel. Please click the Run button. The appearance, location and size of this dialogue box will vary depending on browser and browser version. Please click Yes or the affirmative option in any dialogue box that follows. 5. Finally, to install Citrix Recever, click Install when presented with the Citrix Receiver install dialogue box:

3 Here is an example of the progress dialogue box as the install proceeds: Be sure to close all web browsers for the plug-in to become active. You now have the components necessary to login to the RoseASP Citrix environment. Let s proceed to actually logging into that environment. Logging into the RoseASP Environment (Top of the Page) To login to the Rose ASP environment, go to this link: This is where you will begin each day after you have installed Citrix Receiver for your initial login. 1. Click on the Login Here Box. We recommend that you always go to our home page ( so you can see if there are any updates of maintenance notifications posted on the page.

4 Here is the login page that is presented to you: 2. Please enter your RoseASP login and password, and then click Log On. You should now be logged on and you will be presented with graphical links to the systems that have been allocated to you. This example shows that page: 3. Click on your desktop. If presented with the below warning, please check the Do not ask me again for this site checkbox and click Permit use. This will allow creation of drive mapping to your local hard drive to facilitate copying of files from your local system to the Citrix environment.

5 Your page and the links therein will be different for each client group. Access your systems via these links. You will see this progress screen as the Citrix client attaches to your resource when you click the graphical link to your resource(s.) This screenshot shows the drive mappings to your local system drives (in this example C: and D: ).

6 The screenshot below shows your desktop after login. You are now ready to go to work in the RoseASP environment! Logging Off for the Day (Top of the Page) Once you have completed your work online with RoseASP, it is important to logoff in an orderly fashion. This will prevent you from leaving your Citrix session open on the RoseASP network. NOT logging off as described below and just closing windows to exit, will leave you needing to kill the previous session before you can login once again. This will require assistance from RoseASP Support, causing you an unnecessary delay the next time you attempt to login. Please follow these simple instructions to logoff properly. The productivity you save can be very meaningful and delays are always unwelcome when systems are needed. When you are done working and ready to leave the RoseASP environment, first, logout of the system you are using in typical Windows fashion. An example is shown below:

7 Now you are ready to actually log off of the RoseASP network. The screenshot below shows the initial browser window that opened when you first logged in. This window should remain open (you can minimize it to get it out of the way) during your entire RoseASP online session. After you have logged out of your desktop(s) and are ready to end your RoseASP online session, go back to this browser window: Please note the Log Off button. Click this button to log off. You have now logged off in the orderly fashion that will save you future delay. Notice there is a Return to Log On link to log back in to RoseASP in this screenshot: You can use this link to log back on. If you are done, you can now close this window and continue with your usual local logoff and shutdown procedures without leaving your Citrix session open in the RoseASP environment. REMEMBER: the productivity you save will be your own! So, please, follow these simple instructions to ensure orderly log on and log off. SET IE 11 Compatibility Settings (Top of the Page) 1. Open IE and go to the following URL: 2. click on the Tools icon in the upper Right corner

8 Then click the Compatibility View Settings 3. Add the roseasp.biz website. Then Restart IE 11.
