3 I. Introduction InfoNotary e-doc Signer is an innovative up-to-date technique for signing/checking e-documents. This software solution is pursuant to both the Bulgarian legislation and the European policy framework on electronic signatures. Applied are the internationally accepted standardization of ETSI (European Telecommunication Standards Institute), of the RSA labs and others. The e-doc Signer interface is developed as a Wizard, where the user is led through a sequence of dialogs, step by step during the entire process of signing and checking. Our solution maintains automation of the most frequently performed operations in the form of signing schemes. The schemes store the user settings and in this way facilitate and speed up the process. The check-up result is presented as a summary. InfoNotary e-doc Signer is integrated in the MS Windows environment and permits the signing of any file type. Supported are numerous document signatures, including hierarchical.

5 III. Installation To install InfoNotary InfoNotary e-doc Signer, click twice with your mouse on the 'INSignerSetup.exe' Selecting the Setup Language Select your preferred language to use during the installation from the drop-down menu Opening Screen

6 We strongly recommend you to close all other applications you have running before continuing. This will prevent any conflicts during the installation process. Click Next to continue, or Cancel to exit the Setup 3.3. Licence Agreement Read very carefully the terms under which you as and end-user may utilize our licensed software and select: I accept all the terms of the preceding Licence Agreement if you agree with its content; I do not accept the Agreement if you disagree with the contents.

7 3.4. Select Destination Directory The program will be installed by default in the folder '\InfoNotary\INSigner' directory 'Program Files'. You can select the folder where you would like the Smart Card Manager to be installed by clicking on the Browse button. Otherwise just click Next.

8 3.5. Confirmation The Ready-to-install screen informs you that now the Setup is ready to begin installing the Smart Card manager. You can also review the settings and if they meet your requirements, just click Install to continue with the installation, otherwise select the Back button or Cancel to terminate the process

10 3.7. Finishing the Installation This screen shows that Setup has finished installing the Manager on your PC. Tick off the 'Launch InfoNotary e-doc Signer' check-box if you want to launch the application and click on the Finish button

11 IV. Deinstallation To deinstall the e-doc Signer, from the Control Panel select System Tasks and then open the 'Add/Remove Programs' window. Select from the list with currently installed programs InfoNotary e-doc Signer and the Change/Remove button to remove the application from your computer. In order the Deinstallation process to run smoothly, please close all the copies of the 'Windows Explorer' you have started Confirmation You will be asked whether you are sure you want to deinstall the program; confirm by clicking 'Yes'.
