9 Install methods and guides Workstation Install Wizard Push Down MIDAS+ provides the.msi and.mst along with a readme.txt which contains information on push down deployment All users profile versus individual profile All user profile is recommended (space concerns) Cannot configure some workstations to use individual profiles and others to use all users profile Verify user permissions Refer to install guide for details

12 Troubleshooting tips, techniques and tools Were the steps followed in the order described in the install guide? Are all of the components loaded successfully? WorkCheck.exe (included on the update CD) If launched from a network drive this utility displays all of the components and their versions that have been installed Screen shot the error and call support. We will recommend using the alternate launch method to assist with capturing the error

13 SMTP Server now required Utilize the mailto: process No more IDS! Allows sending of case reviews, compiled reports and messages using the in-house system Anti-virus packages May Block SMTP System Manager messages may not function with certain anti-virus packages enabled

14 Outgoing attachments must be manually linked to from within MIDAS+ Refer to the workstation install guide for details on settings Some large messages may have problems sending if the address, subject and body of the exceed a 2k limit This limit only applies with creating and sending from within MIDAS+ (eg. Patient Referral)
