1 Quest Browser and Emis Web A brief guide into using Quest Browser with Emis Web Issuing the query set Running the queries in Miquest Importing the results into Quest Browser Uploading Anonymised Data Downloading new query sets Viewing the previously run Health Checks report Read Code Table Open Quest Browser by double clicking the icon on your desktop Quest Browser The opening page will appear as shown here Issuing the queries Open Libraries by clicking the + sign to view the currently loaded query sets. Click the + sign to the left of QRISK to reveal the Health Checks query set header. TCR006/

2 You are now ready to issue the query set. Right click on the query set header wording. For example: (NHS Health Checks etc ) Select Issue Query Set and you will be presented with a date screen. Select the appropriate date from the drop down options and click OK The queries have now been issued to the common folder Quest (or the folder as configured in Quest Browser) The common folder is the location where all queries are issued and where subsequently, the corresponding responses from the clinical system should be output to. Common Folder You are now ready to import the queries into Emis PCS/Web and process them. In Emis Web, click the Emis bubble, select Reporting and Miquest. TCR006/

3 To clear Miquest of all old queries and responses, select Configuration, and Clear All Queries Type YES (upper case) and click OK Ensure all completed responses have been output before performing this process as everything in Miquest will be deleted. Select Transfer and Local Location and Files to Import from the options. Navigate to the common folder where the queries were issued. Click on the first query and press Ctrl and A simultaneously to select all of the queries. Click Open to import the queries. The query set works it's way down this list on the left hand side (you help it along). TCR006/

4 The queries will appear in Query, Unauthorised, Left click on this title to view the queries in the main window. Right click on any query in the main window and select Authorise Set. All Queries in the set will be authorised, click Yes The queries will now move into Waiting to Run Repeat the process above to move the queries into Running Emis Web will run the queries overnight and you should see them appear in Completed, Awaiting Authorisation the following day. As the queries move through this process, the same method is used at each stage by left clicking the title in the left hand pane, right clicking on a query and selecting the appropriate option. To summarise: Left click title Right click on query to select action (116) Query, Unauthorised Right click on query and select Authorise Set (116) Waiting to Run Right click on query and select Queue Set Now (116) Running The number in brackets shows how many queries are running (116) Completed, Awaiting Authorisation Right click and select Authorise Set (116) Completed, Authorised Right click and select Export Set, select Yes Select Custom Location Navigate to the common folder ie: C:\Quest (This is the same place where the queries were originally issued). and click OK TCR006/

5 You are now ready to complete the final part of the process by importing the responses into Quest Browser. In Quest Browser, click on Queries on the toolbar at the top of the screen, select Import Results. Tick Select All box and click Import from Selected Files The responses will then be imported into Quest Browser. The TCR QRISK2 scoring utility window will appear and begin processing the responses. The time processing the data will depend upon practice list size and the number of health checks completed. When the processing has completed you will be presented with the NHS Health Check Tool. 6 Uploading the Anonymised Data Anonymised data is uploaded to provide monitoring information for your Local Authority as required by the Department of Health. This also provides the necessary data used to calculate payment for your practice. Before uploading the anonymised data, check the run date on the Summary tab to ensure the information is for the period intended. To upload your data, click the Upload Anon button. A message will appear giving you the opportunity to view the data prior to upload. Selecting No will continue the data transfer process. The upload may take a few minutes. At the end of the process you will get a message informing you that the data has been successfully uploaded. TCR006/

7 Adding or Replacing a Query Set Periodically, query sets will be updated and you may be instructed to download the latest version. If you are prompted to do this, follow the steps below. This process will remove all responses and data from the existing report. To download the QRISK2 Health Check query set, select: Queries. Add New Query Sets. Install From Web This link directs you to the Public Audits download page and provides access to a wide variety of audits Select QRISK CVD Risk TCR006/

8 Select the appropriate download for your area When the download is complete, close the inner web page window down by clicking the close box. The QRISK2/NHS Health Checks query set will now appear in the library manager (along with any other audits downloaded previously). These will remain here unless you choose to delete them. TCR006/

9 Viewing the NHS Health Checks Report To view your NHS Health Checks report, open Quest Browser and select Health Checks in the tool bar. For further information about TCR products view the help system by clicking Help within Quest Browser or use the following link. TCR006/

Typically this will include BP, BMI, Ethnicity, Family History of CVD, Smoking Status, Lifestyle advice for Smoking, Diet, Weight and exercise.
