1 Installation instructions for Ebix eforms PC requirements for eforms setup: 1. Microsoft.Net Framework 3.5 or Microsoft.Net Framework 3.5 SP1 2. At least 2 GB free space on system Drive C: (The setup is small but requires some temporary files in PC s data folder during the installation process) 3. 6 WARNING: Be sure to select the correct version at the top of this screen. The default is Reader Version. The Registration Types: (see chart on last page for more detailed information on the differences) Reader Version: This option allows an eform to be viewed, saved locally or ed. EbixASP Version: The EbixASP Version allows you to export your EbixASP data to generate an ACORD application from within EbixASP. The form can be printed, converted to.pdf, ed or faxed. There is no additional fee for this version if you are already an EbixASP customer. Trial Version: This version will have the same functionality as the Full version for a trial period of 90 days from the date of installation. It can only be selected once on a PC. After 90 days, the Registration Type will revert to the Reader version. Full Version: This option has integration capabilities for importing into EbixASP. This option requires a registration key, which is assigned to you at the time of purchase. Important Registration information for EbixASP customers: Registration ID: Enter in your address. Company Name: For EbixASP customers, you must enter the Corp ID used to log onto EbixASP. User Name: For EbixASP customers, you must enter the same User ID used to log onto EbixASP. EbixASP Password: If prompted, enter in the same password used to log onto EbixASP. When registration is complete, the following panel will appear: You are now ready to start using eforms. PC must connect to the Internet occasionally for eforms to verify registration and to receive updates. If eforms is unable to verify registration over a period of three days, it will work only in restricted mode (Reader Version options only) Reader version is for a person who needs to fill-in the form and save it.
