The reverse is also true when a password is used. Any scripts o session data, for that user, containing &PWPH type variables would ne be changed to &PSWD type variables. With this fix applied it doesn't matter which set of variables are us decision on which gets sent (a password or a password phrase) is base what TPX finds in the user's control record. Symptoms: When a user tries to start an application session the attempt fails d missing password. IMPACT: All sessions using either signon scripts or session data which includ &PSWD or &PWPH type variables will not be successfully initiated. Create duplicate signon scripts. One containing &PSWD type variables other containing &PWPH type variables. Or modify the variable in the data from the TPX Menu using the E line command. Impact: When the SAF router has the high order bit on, users will be able to logon regardless of the return code issued. Disable EKC's ETF/A or apply this fix.
