3 1 System Requirements The system requirements for this release have not changed. The tables below define the minimum and recommended software and hardware requirements for LOTS. To gain maximum benefit from LOTS we strongly recommend that your pharmacy meets the recommended requirements. 4 2 LOTS Dispense 2.1 Submission of Under Co-Payment (UCP) Scripts to Medicare LOTS Dispense now sends details of all scripts (except private scripts) to Medicare via PBS Online. Under co-payment scripts are sent and shown as "UCP Processed" on the LOTS Dispense screen. Under co-payment scripts are only sent to Medicare from 1 April UCP scripts are now assigned a separate serial number, shown on the Script screen with a "UCP" label displayed adjacent to the serial number. The response code for these UCP scripts that are accepted by Medicare is "I 635". Page 4 of 9

5 Serial numbers for UCP scripts are included on the script label with a "UCP" prefix, e.g. "UCP G12", indicating this is an under co-payment script for a General category patient. The paper scripts for non-ctg UCP scripts do not need to be submitted to Medicare with your claim. 2.2 Prescription Switching When dispensing an outside repeat from a non-pbs approved pharmacy, or your pharmacy is a non-pbs approved pharmacy, those scripts will be dispensed as private scripts and will indicate on the repeat form that all subsequent supplies are non-pbs (i.e. private). When dispensing an outside repeat from a non-pbs approved pharmacy (as indicated on the repeat form), tick the new option on the Repeat tab of the Script screen named "Previously dispensed by non-pbs pharmacy", to ensure the repeat form contains the "subsequent supplies must be non-pbs" text. 2.3 Own Repeat with a Streamlined Authority Number When dispensing an Own Repeat for a Streamlined Authority item LOTS will now prompt to enter a streamlined authority number if one had not been selected at the time of the previous supply. 2.4 Removing a Streamlined Authority Number A button labelled Remove SLA from script has been added to the Streamlined Authority Window to allow the SLA Number to be removed from the script if required (see below). 6 2.5 Previously Deferred escripts An issue whereby Previously Deferred escripts were occasionally being displayed as Immediate Supply has been rectified. 2.6 Recalculating Manually Entered Prices An issue whereby the price of a drug, when manually adjusted in a script, was not recalculated once the drug quantity was amended, or a generic version of the drug was selected, has been resolved. 2.7 Medicare Number Removed if Duplicated If you are alerted that a Medicare number you have just entered already exists for another patient, and you choose to continue, the duplicate Medicare number is no longer cleared out. 7 3 LOTS POS 3.1 Onscreen Keyboard becoming Disabled (Touch Screen Users Only) An issue whereby the Onscreen Keyboard would become disabled after re-booting (affecting tills with a Touch Screen attached) has been resolved for most Touch Screen systems. Please note that this issue has been found to potentially still affect some stores using Touch Screens; if you discover that the problem has not been rectified after installing this version then please contact Support. 3.2 POS Error 70 Messages Messages displaying the text Error 70, reported as occasionally appearing in POS by stores not using LOTS Complete have been fixed and removed. 4 Orders 4.1 Exclude Stock Group from Orders An issue whereby the Stock Group for Exclusion filter would occasionally still include items from a specified Stock Group results in an Order has been resolved. 5 Stock Cards 5.1 Stock In Function A cosmetic issue affecting the Stock In function in Stock Cards, whereby the real and average costs were not displayed correctly for items with a zero value cost has been resolved. 6 Claims 6.1 Statement Type shown as? An ongoing issue where a claim period statement type was being displayed as a question mark (meaning the statement type could not be determined) has been resolved. The claim period statement type in LOTS will now correctly reflect either Interim or Complete when an electronic statement from Medicare is received. Page 7 of 9

8 7 Debtors 7.1 Journal Entries In response to requests to allow for larger Journal Entries in Debtors, the maximum value able to be entered into this field has been increased to $99, Occasional Error Messages Messages displaying either the text Invalid use of Null or Data Type Mismatch, reported as occasionally appearing when viewing statements for some debtors have been fixed. 8 Promotions 8.1 Updating Promotions on Windows 7 Error messages received when running a promotion file update on a Windows 7 machine have been resolved. 9 Reports 9.1 Department Sales Report The Gross Profit value in this report now shows the value to two decimal places (instead of no decimal places) when running this report by specifying a date range. 9.2 End of Day Details of Receipts Any change given from split payments where EFTPOS or Credit Cards are used together with Cash is now displayed correctly in the Details of Receipts section of the EOD Report. Paid Out entries and Cash Returns are now correctly listed in this section Daily Intensive Analysis The Daily Intensive Analysis section of the EOD report no longer includes the quantity for Rounding in the number of items sold Stock Transfer Reversals Stock transfer reversals now show the correct negative values in the Stock Transfer section of the End of Day report Journal Entries Any adjustments made via a Journal Entry are now displayed as individual items in both the Summary of Sales (A/C Sales section) and Profit And Loss sections of the EOD report. Journal entry descriptions now correctly appear in the POS screen, statements and journal entry receipts. Page 8 of 9

9 Under some circumstances, when zeroing an account from a journal entry, an error message was displayed. This has now been corrected Exclude Journal Entries from Sales Figures Following a recent program update, in some cases, journal entries were being included in sales figures. Journal entries can now be included or excluded from sales figures in the End of Day Report, by ticking or unticking "Include Journal Entries in Sales Figures" in the End of Day Options Additional Pages An issue whereby additional blank pages were occasionally printed in the EOD report has been resolved. 10 Tools 10.1 Printing Labels from PharmaScan Goods Labels printed from PharmaScan units now correctly print the item s price on the label OzBiz rebranded as EzyLink All references to OzBiz in LOTS have now been amended to EzyLink; all existing functionality remains the same Shelf Label Queue A cosmetic issue affecting the Shelf Label Queue, causing other windows to display in front of the Queue once a label had been printed, has been resolved.
