4 Glossary Showcase Workshop: The web portal used to create, manage and distribute your showcases. Showcase(s): A product of the Workshop; A showcase could be a presentation, digital brochure or training manual. Showcase App: The ios, Android or Windows app used to access and display your showcase(s) 04

6 The Showcase App The Showcase app securely receives and stores the latest versions of sales materials and presentations for instant access in the tablet app. Device requirements A compatible tablet or smart phone The Showcase Workshop app A Showcase log in and password (your Administrator can provide this) How to get up and running on your device 1. Download Showcase from your device app store 2. Enter your address and password in the app (your Administrator can provide this) 3. Download the available presentations by tapping on the green download cloud below the presentation thumbnail Receiving updates 1. Your device will automatically notify you when updates are available for your presentations 2. If you are an ios user you will be notified of the update by a red circle on the Showcase Workshop launch icon. The red circle will have a number inside it and this number indicates how many updates are available. If you are an Android user a small monocrom icon will appear in the tray. If you tap on it you will be able to read the notification message. 3. Showcase will only download the updates rather than the entire presentation 4. In addition to the red circle on the launch button, an orange cloud will display below your presentation thumbnails, this indicates that updates are available. 06

7 Sharing If your showcase has content available for sharing, you have the ability to share this content with anyone who has an address. To share content from the app: 1. Open the showcase you wish to share content from 2. Open the navigation bar by touching the tab near the bottom of the screen 3. Open the Sharing menu by touching the monochrome share icon, found next to the home button 4. Select the content you wish to share from the list 5. Fill out the sender, recipient and message details 6. Touch the Send button to share the content. will be sent to the recipient containing a link to the content you have shared. You as the sender will also be Cc d in this message. You can track when a recipient has open or downloaded the content you shared via the Reporting area in the Showcase Workshop. 07

9 Introduction Browser requirements Showcase Workshop has the following minimum browser requirements: Internet Explorer 9 Google Chrome (latest version) Mozilla Firefox 5 Safari 5 *If your web browser is below the above requirements, a message will be displayed warning you about the potential of reduced functionality. For the best possible experience, please update your browser. Create an account In order to use the Showcase app or Workshop, you will need to create an account. To create an account: Step 1: visit Step 2: fill out your details Step 3: confirm your details and you re ready to go! Signing in Visit: from your supported browser Enter your account address and password *If you do not yet have an account, sign up at Showcaseworkshop.com or contact your administrator Forgotten password If you have forgotten the password for your account: Choose the Forgot your password? link on the sign in page An will be sent to the address associated with your account, which will provide you with a link to reset your password. 09

10 Profile Settings Your profile User details You can access & edit your profile information by clicking your user name on the right hand side of the top navigation menu. As a user, from this page you can: Edit/change your first & last name Edit/change your address Edit/change your contact number Edit/change your password. Help messages This section allows you to turn on/off the help messages associated with your user account. You can also reset any help messages you may have previously hidden. 11 Reporting Activity logs The activity log tracks all user activity across Showcase Workshop. This includes: Device sign on validation: Each time a viewer user opens a showcase on a device User sign on validation: Each time a user signs into Showcase Workshop Showcase downloads: Each time a user downloads a Showcase Edit showcase: Each time a user has edited a Showcase Delete showcase: Each time a user has deleted a Showcase Copy showcase: Each time a user has copied a Showcase Un-published changes: Each time a user has edited a Showcase and not published Publish changes: Each time a user has published a Showcase Accessing shared content: Each time a customer access shared content (customer name and , time and date) Sharing of content: each time a user shares content (customer name, content shared, time and date) To access the activity logs: Step 1: Navigate to the Reporting page from the main menu Step 2: Click the Logs page from the sub menu Activity data can be sorted by user and time. There is also the option to export this data to a.csv file. 11

12 Analytics Showcase Workshop provides analytic tracking of individual showcases. This includes: Usage activity: shows the number of times showcase has been opened per day. Daily page views: number of pages clicked through per day Average time: average time (in seconds) spent on each showcase To access the analytics: Step 1: Navigate to the Reporting page from the main menu Step 2: Click the Analytics page from the sub menu Analytics can be sorted by: Presentation Date range 12
