1 Quick Start Guide Thank you for purchasing the Viral Loop 2.0 theme. Here is a simple guide to help you get set up. I. Accessing and Downloading the Theme A. Upon purchase, you should receive an confirmation that provides you with the JVZoo Transaction ID (the one that begins with an AP-XXXXX) and access to login to your JVZoo Download Portal. You will need to check your inbox, as well as the spam or junk folder in case the lands there. B. Go to and login using the username and password provided in the confirmation. C. Go to My Purchases and look for Viral Loop and click on it.

2 D. You will then be directed to the product download page where you will find a video tutorial on how to download and install the theme, as well as the link to download the theme. Make sure the download is complete and you remember where the file is saved on your computer. II. Installing the Theme A. Login to your Wordpress Admin site. It is important to make sure that you have a self-hosted WP blog as this is required to install the theme. B. Once inside, go to the Appearance>Themes area and click on Add New. C. Locate where the Viral Loop zip file is in your computer and select it for upload to your WP site. D. Once the theme has been uploaded, click on Activate and it should now appear in the menu list on the right side of your WP admin site.

3 III. Setting Up A. Activation You will need to activate the theme to be able to configure and use it. To activate the theme, go to Viral Loop>Settings>Activate. Your activation key is the same as your JVZoo Transaction ID (the one that begins with an AP- XXXXXX. Copy and paste it into the corresponding field and click on Save All Changes. Once the theme is activated, you will then be able to proceed with configuring the theme. But there are a few more things to set up before proceeding to the Design area. B. Home Page, Categories, Topics, and Slider (Don t forget to save your settings after each step.) i. Create a Home Page. Go to Pages>Add New Name it Home Page and on the right column where it says Page Attributes, choose the Home Page Template

4 ii. Go to Settings => General and set Site Title and Tag Line iii. Go to Settings>Reading and select Front Page Displays static page. Set Front Page as your Home Page and Save All Changes.

5 iv. Go to Viral Post>Categories and create some categories. v. Go to Viral Loop>Manage Topics and create and create 3-5 conversation starters. These are things to get your members sharing content. When they upload a piece of content it asks them to share it on social media, but also suggest new topics - so the site grows organically, based on what your members start wanting to talk about too.

6 C. Amazon ID and Native Ads Code If you do not have an Amazon ID yet, go to and sign up for one. You can then set up and create your own Amazon Native Ads code. D. Create Some Posts Go to Viral Loop>Viral Post Creator to create some posts. Video tutorials are available inside your WP admin site to assist you in setting up the theme.
