2 How to register Your guide to Swim4Life Online Welcome to your step by step guide on how to register and use Swim4Life Online. The Swim4Life scheme is available at all One Leisure sites and enables the development and progression of your child s swimming ability at their pace aided by fully qualified swim teachers. The scheme offers a diverse range of lessons and helps your child learn an essential skill that lasts for life. If you have enrolled your child on the Swim4Life you can now monitor their progress through Swim4Life Online. You will be able to view weekly teacher feedback online and you when your child is ready to progress you can move them up to the next class from the comfort of your own home. If you have more than one child on the Swim4Life scheme then you can view/manage them all using a single log-in. You will also find frequently asked questions and the contact details for all One Leisure sites enclosed. Firstly log on to and click Register Now. Step 1 You are asked to enter your Member ID. This can be found on your child s membership card. Once you have inputted your child s Member ID, click Continue. This card entitles you to use the One Leisure facilities in Huntingdon, Ramsey, Sawtry, St Ives and St Neots H D C If your child does not have a membership card, please ask for a new one when you next visit your local One Leisure site.

3 Step 2 You will now be directed to Step 2 of the process where you need to input your child s date of birth and your address or post code. Once entered, click Continue. Step 3 If you have more than one child on the Swim4Life scheme then you can enter their details by clicking Add another member and you will be returned to Step 2. Once your child s/children s details have been entered, click on That s everyone, proceed to finish to complete your registration. Step 4 To complete the registration process you are now required to enter log-in details for your account. Your password must be at least six characters long and be a mix of numbers and letters. Don t forget to tick that you have read the terms and conditions. Finally, click Continue. Step 5 You will receive an with a link to complete the registration so your address can be validated for Data Protection purposes. You must click the link on the and log onto Swim4Life Online using the details you have just entered. This will verify your account, then you can log-in using the website address from then on. CONGRATULATIONS you are now able to explore Swim4Life Online.

4 Getting to know the basics To log on to Swim4Life Online, enter the address and password you set up during the registration process and click Login. You will then be directed to an overview screen where you will see the children you have registered with Swim4Life Online. You will also see what class they are in, the time and day of the class, a percentage showing how much of the assessment criteria they have achieved and details of their subscription type. By clicking on your child s name to the left hand side of the screen, you will be taken to a more detailed screen detailing further information about their class. C It will also have a full overview of the assessment criteria, including their performance levels. By selecting Course History you will be able to see details of current and previous details of classes attended. Amending details If you do not pay Direct Debit you will be able to see how many sessions are left before payment is due. To amend your account details including password, click Settings. C You can add your other children to your profile when they join by clicking Add More. C If you have difficulty amending your details then please ask for the Swim4Life Co-ordinator at your local One Leisure site.

5 Moving up a class When your child has completed the relevant criteria to move to the next class, the teacher will mark the child as ready for movement on the system. This will generate an to your registered address advising you to log on to Swim4Life Online to move your child up to the next level. When you log on you will see a message confirming your child is ready to move. Click Move to view the classes available. Once you have chosen which class is suitable, click Move to confirm your selection. You will then be presented with the above screen stating the class your child is in and the class you wish to move them to. To confirm, click Move or go Back. You will then be presented with a screen confirming that your move was successful.

6 Frequently asked questions I get an error message when answering the security questions during the registration process. Please contact your local One Leisure site as the data held on our system may not match your entry. I have not received my verification . Initially check your Spam, Junk or Bulk mail folders. If you still cannot find the , contact your local One Leisure site who will be able to check the address entered and either re-send the verification or manually verify the address. I do not have / do not know my card ID. You cannot register for Swim4Life Online without a One Card. These can be obtained from any reception point in all One Leisure sites Please note there is a charge of 1.50 for a replacement card. Cards can only be issued in person for Data Protection reasons. How do I know if my child has passed a level and is ready to move? You will receive an when your child has passed a level and there are spaces in the next level available. Am I able to move my child between classes on the same level? No. Movements are only available when a child has achieved the full criteria to move up to the next level. A full list of available classes will be displayed on Swim4Life Online for you to choose from. My child s progress statistics shows that they have completed 100% of their criteria but I have not received an notifying me that they are ready to move. Each sites Swim4Life Co-ordinator has to verify from the teachers reports that the child is ready to move. Before doing this on the system they also check to see that there are available spaces on the next level up before allowing the notification to be sent. This may take a couple of days. If spaces do not become available the Swim4Life Co-ordinator will contact you advising of your options. What should I expect to see as a parent? Your child should be assessed frequently on each of criteria within their class, the teacher will deem them either not tested, not capable, needs practise and passed depending on the capabilities of each individual child. Every child will progress at a different rate and the teacher s decision is final. Can I pay on Swim4Life via the website? No. You can pay on your visit to the centre, over the phone or you can log on to our online payments system via Please note you will need to register your child s details in order to pay online.
