1 If registering groups of members from an affiliate with 2 or more hotel rooms, please do not use the online registration. CTSHousing@afscme.org for group reservations. All attendees must register. If you have any questions, please contact Conference & Travel Services (CTS) at (202) or CTSHousing@afscme.org. YOU WILL NEED TO LOGIN TO My.AFSCME.ORG TO REGISTER EVEN IF YOU DO NOT NEED A SLEEPING ROOM. 1. My.AFSCME.org ACCOUNT The first step in the registration process is to login to your My.AFSCME.org account. If you already have a username and password for My.AFSCME.org, go to Step 2. If it s your first time using My.AFSCME.org, you will need to create an account using your member number. If you don t have your member number, call (855) AFSCME1 ( ) or memberservices@afscme.org. You will receive a confirmation once you have created your My.AFSCME.org account. You will need to login to My.AFSCME.org to register even if you do not need a sleeping room. 2. LOGIN TO My.AFSCME.org Once you have a username ( address) and password, login to My.AFSCME.org. Once you login, you will be on the Member Information page. Click on the 2015 Women s Conference link at the top, right corner of the page. Everyone coming to the Conference must confirm their attendance, even if they are sharing a room with someone who will be paying. You will need to login to My.AFSCME.org to register even if you do not need a sleeping room. If you would like to optin to receive text messages via cellphone please provide your cell phone number and click yes.
2 3. PRIMARY INFORMATION You are now on the Primary Information page. Your member information will automatically fill the form. You will also need to provide an address and phone number in order to complete your reservation. Please make sure you scroll down and identify your member status (i.e. affiliate, guest, etc.). Also fill in the dates you will be attending the Conference and click CONTINUE at the bottom of the page to continue the housing process. 4. HOTEL AND REGISTRATION On the Hotel page, only check option no hotel if you are attending the Conference and do not need a hotel room or if you are sharing a room with another member. If you need a hotel, select a room type. ROOM RATES AND ROOM TYPES ARE BASED ON AVAILABILITY AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE. You can also click if you have any ADA requirements. Single, double, triple and quadruple occupancy is $ /night (including tax). You should select a double/double room for 2 or more roommates. Once complete, click CONTINUE. If your arrival and departure dates are not accepted by the system contact CTS at (202) or CTShousing@afscme.org.
3 5. ROOMMATE (GUESTS) INFORMATION On the Roommate Information page, enter the total number of roommates. Adding your roommate to your hotel room reservation will automatically register her/him for the Conference. Please make sure you provide their complete name, address and member number(s) if they have one. Enter the roommate information only once to prevent duplicate information. Note: No more than 4 people to a room. Click CONTINUE. O 6. HOTEL NEEDS On the HOTEL NEEDS page, indicate if you or your roommate(s) have a special request: i.e., refrigerator, ADA room requirements. Click CONTINUE.
4 7. PAYMENT On the Payment page, please indicate your payment method. Payment by check or money order must be made payable to JW Marriott Indianapolis. If you do not know your check number when registering, please enter the default check number (Note: Hotel reservations will be confirmed once an actual check is received.) Send payment to AFSCME Conference & Travel Services, 1625 L Street, NW, Washington, DC Click CONTINUE. 8. CONFIRM INFORMATION To determine the entire cost of your stay, please print the Confirm Information page prior to completing your reservation. This page will include the amount for a 1 night stay (including tax) and will be listed on the verification screen. You can multiply this amount by the total number of nights on your reservation. Please note that the reservation summary page you receive will only have the room rate plus tax for 1 night. You must click the PROCESS RESERVATION button to complete the reservation process. A separate hotel confimation will follow at a later date. After you process your housing reservation and you have additional specials needs, such as dietary restrictions, please click here.
5 9. MODIFY OR CANCEL RESERVATION Once your reservation is complete, you can modify or cancel your reservation by clicking on CANCEL RESERVATION or MODIFY RESERVATION. I
