1 Instructions for Protecting Children from Sexual Misconduct *PLEASE NOTE: For technical assistance with the EduRisk Learning Portal, you must contact EduRisk. You can contact the EduRisk Help Desk at To Register: 1. Click the training link* in the you were sent. 2. Complete the registration form with the following required information: First Name Last Name Address (Use your NKU ) 3. Click Register. 4. Check your for a registration and click on the link in the to sign on. 5. Enter your temporary password, your new password and create and answer a security question. 6. You are now registered and may begin a course. *To request the training link, please contact your supervisor or the Compliance Officer at comply@nku.edu. To Log In: 1. Click the training link in the you were sent. This will take you to the log in screen. 2. Enter your username (should be your NKU address) and password. Enter username Enter password Completing Courses 1. Log in and scroll to the My Courses section as shown below:

2 2. Select the course you wish to complete by clicking on that course. For most learners, it will be the course titled Protecting Children: Identifying and Reporting Sexual Misconduct. The course screen will come up as shown below: Notice that the description of the course shows the audience as well as the duration of the course. 3. Click Launch to begin the course. NOTE: You will need to allow pop-ups for the course to launch. When the course launches you will see the following screen:

3 NOTE: If you would like to obtain a transcript, you can click Close and then choose the Transcript tab as shown above to see your available transcripts. Click Close to begin the course. 4. Follow the instructions on the screen to advance through the course. The course is interactive and will require you to answer questions. Advance through the course by clicking next as shown below:

4 5. When you see the screen shown below, the course is complete. Close the window to return to the course home page. 6. When you return to the course homepage, you will notice that the course now has a checkmark in the Launch button as shown below: Completions and Certificates 1. Scroll to the My Completions section as shown below:

5 2. Click Access your training history. You will be able to view your completions dashboard which will look similar to the screen shown below: Your completed courses are shown in the middle section. 3. If you would like to view and/or print your certificate, click View Certificate. The completion certificate will open as a pdf and shows: The learner s name The course title The date of completion You can print the certificate or save it as you would any other pdf. You will also receive an advising that you have completed a course and also providing a link that will allow you to download your completion certificate. Site Assistance and Support Need assistance?
