The errr indicates that the app dwnlad failed, and that the netwrk cnnectin was interrupted. Knwn issues and limitatins The fllwing issues and limitatins were identified at release time. The list is nt cmprehensive; it des hwever list all knwn majr issues and limitatins. General Functinality fr develping Qlik Sense apps using the Qlik Sense Mbile app is limited. These limitatins are listed belw, and include the fllwing: Yu cannt create breakpints when debugging scripts in the Data Lad Editr. When wrking with large r cmplex datasets, the cnnectin t the Qlik Sense server may be lst when yu try t change table assciatins in the Assciatins view f the Data Manager. If yu zm in n a sheet in a stry, yu cannt interact with the data in the sheet (make selectins and s n). Wrkarund: Create and develp Qlik Sense apps frm a brwser n a cmputer that is cnnected t yur Qlik Sense Enterprise server. Qlik Sense Mbile app After VPN cnnectin is established n lgin in Qlik Sense Mbile, if QSM is backgrunded fr a time and then fregrunded the VPN cnnectin will nt be re-established. Wrkarund: Users must lgut and lgin t re-establish the cnnectin. Alternatively, users can manually start the VPN client n the device. Yu cannt create new Qlik Sense apps in the Mbile app. Yu have t create new Qlik Sense apps in a brwser cnnected t Qlik Sense Enterprise. T get new Qlik Sense apps t appear in the Mbile app hub, yu have t lg ut f the Mbile app, and then lg in again. RAM and CPU system recmmendatins are nt currently available fr the ipad. See the Develping Qlik Sense apps sectin belw. A Qlik Sense Mbile FAQ (Qlik Sense mbile ios FAQ) is als available in Qlik Cmmunity, Qlik Sense Clud cnnectivity is nt supprted. OMIT is nt supprted fr sectin access. User-created sheets appear tgether with base sheets when a Qlik Sense app is pened ffline. Additinally, user-created sheets and base sheets are nt prperly srted. Split screen and slide ver n ipad are nt supprted, and shuld be nt used. Backgrund maps are nt visible in an ffline app. Authenticatin link des nt wrk n iphne with ios Dwnlading When the dwnlad f a Qlik Sense app is requested frm the server, the Qlik Sense engine prepares the app fr dwnlad. If the app is nt ready fr dwnlad within 90 secnds, the dwnlad is abrted. This can happen when yu dwnlad large r cmplex apps. See the Develping Qlik Sense apps sectin belw. 8 When dwnlading a Qlik Sense app, if the cnnectin t the Qlik Sense server is lst fr 15 secnds, the dwnlad fails. The dwnlad must be started again manually. Data Lad Editr Yu cannt create breakpints when debugging scripts in the Data Lad Editr. Yu cannt launch Help frm the cmmands in the Data Lad Editr. Data Mdel Viewer Yu cannt repsitin the canvas in the Data Mdel Viewer t mve tables int view. Extensins Extensins that require access t nline resurces will nt wrk when there is n netwrk cnnectin. When there is a netwrk cnnectin, the extensins will wrk when the app is pened nline r ffline. Server-side extensins are nt supprted. Media files If the Mbile app is sent t the backgrund while the ios native media selectin dialg is pen, yu will have t restart the Mbile app t be able t select media files. Strytelling If yu zm in n a sheet in a stry, yu cannt interact with the data in the sheet (make selectins and s n). Objects, such as shapes and effects, cannt be dragged dwnwards after being selected in the bject dialg windw. Yu must first drag the bject t the left, ut f the dialg windw. Sectin access Yu cannt pen sme restricted access Qlik Sense apps in the Qlik Sense Mbile app. Trying t d s may freeze Qlik Sense Mbile n the app lading screen with a backgrund message stating that access is denied. If this ccurs, minimize and then maximize the Mbile app t view and clear the message n yur ios device. Cnsult yur system administratr abut access settings n the Qlik Sense app. Develping a Qlik Sense app fr the Mbile app Qlik recmmends develping apps in a brwser n a cmputer cnnected t a Qlik Sense server. All Qlik Sense apps shuld be dwnladed and tested n an ios device with similar system specificatins as thse devices t which the app will be published. Cnsider the size and cmplexity f Qlik Sense apps when they are being develped fr cnsumptin in the Mbile app. Qlik Sense apps need t wrk within cnstraints f ipad CPU, RAM, and available space. Nte that the Mbile app runs a lcal versin f the Qlik Sense engine. After pening an app in the Mbile app, if yu want t pen that same app withut data in a brwser, yu have t wait 30 minutes. If yu wrk n Sectin Access in the Mbile app, yu have t wait 30 minutes befre yu can cntinue wrking n it in a brwser, and see the effects f any rule changes. Qlik Sense Mbile and AirWatch Fr best perfrmance and stability, VMware Tunnel versin r later must be used. This App can be dwnladed and installed frm the Apple App stre. When trying t lg int Qlik Sense Enterprise frm Qlik Sense Mbile, if a user delays cmpleting the lg in prcess, the Qlik Sense server cannt prcess the request.
