1 HOW TO READ THE SCHEDULE: URINETOWN DETAILED REHEARSAL SCHEDULE FOR MTA/SPRING 2017 DAY/DATE TIME OF REHEARSAL (WHO submitted a conflict, but only if it could NOT be worked around) WHO is called to the rehearsal. WHAT we are trying to accomplish at the rehearsal. To clarify the submitted conflicts section: If you do NOT see your name in the parentheses and you DID submit a conflict, it means I was able to schedule around the submission and you will not be missing anything at rehearsal. It does NOT mean that I did not receive the conflict, and I do not know about it. If you DO see your name in the parentheses, it means you have submitted a conflict, but I was unable to work around it. You will be responsible for catching up on any missed material on your own, but a space will be saved for you in the number being worked on that day. PLEASE READ THIS: When you miss any rehearsal and MTA was unaware of it ahead of time, you will NOT be staged in the number or scene being worked on that day, unless as a necessity your role plays an integral part in the scene and it cannot be cut. Thank-You! THURS. 3/2 6:30-9:45 pm (No JAKE, MACK, ATTICUS, AUDREY, or ANYSA) FULL CAST is called. First Sit-Down Vocal Rehearsal Please bring your binders/scripts/music, along with a pencil, highlighter, and a recording device to all vocal rehearsals. PLEASE READ: There are SIXTEEN submitted conflicts during our first two vocal rehearsals, which is Half of the Cast You ALL need to make some sort of arrangement to have your parts recorded during the teaching, or we many never get comfortable and settle into the challenging vocals in this show. In general, this is a show with an unusually high amount of conflicts submitted. May 6 th and June 1 st are the ONLY two days when the Full Cast is available to rehearse. Not trying to be overly negative, but this will be an extremely challenging undertaking, so please do your part to learn what you missed at rehearsal as quickly as possible, or we re going to be in a world of hurt. Thanks. 3/4 9:30 am-1:00 pm (No MEGAN, BRIANNA, JORDAN, CLAIRE, CHRIS, ANYSA, or SARAH MACK, JAKE, AUDREY, and ATTICUS 11:30 am) FULL CAST is called. 9:30-11:30 am Continue with Vocal Rehearsal on Entire Show. 11:30 am-1:00 pm TAYLOR S. work vocally with the HOPES and LITTLE SALLYS. We will not be taking everything out of the theater, as some of it will be staying for our next production. All Cast Members and their families (particularly strong Dads and Brothers) are required to participate. Please bring electric drills and tools for some taking apart of the Set as instructed only. The more help we have, the quicker the Pizza will be sitting in front of us at BJ s!! All costumes must be checked in and put in cars for return to the MTA Studio, along with some props not needed for You re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. After EVERY performance, please take the time as an actor to clean-up after YOURSELF. Remember at all times we are guests in this lovely theater. A nightly clean-up crew comprised of assigned cast members will be announced closer to the show, and you will not be allowed to leave the theater until you are dismissed by either a Stage Manager or the Dressing Room Lead. It takes an army of helpers to make everything go smoothly, and we appreciate all that you do to complete the performance process by participating fully in the Strike. Thank You! As a reminder, please take the time to read this schedule carefully and to do your absolute best to attend all rehearsals when you are needed. This show will be a fun RELEASE for all of us, and things should FLOW nicely from here on out. Be on time and do not TRICKLE into rehearsals, we much prefer to see a STEADY STREAM of students arriving on time and ready to LET LOOSE. I can hardly HOLD IN my excitement for this show, I can t PEElieve we are finally starting! See you all on Thursday! JIMMY
