4 Lay out of information disposition a. Access levels present: - No symbol: no level - 1^ key: level 6-2^ key: level 4-3^ key: level 2. b. On the navigation lines the selected item is visualized on back background and the present value of the component is visualized, opposite the navigation arrow. Navigation: Select the line: Rotate the setting dial. Commute the lower level: Press the setting dial. Display lines The item is also highlighted on black background when the display line (reading only) is selected. The value is shown at once. Lines settings For the setting of the parameters lines the name and the value are highlighted on black background. Setting the value: Select the line: Rotate the dial. To commute to settings page: Press the dial. To set the parameter on the selected page: Rotate the dial. To exit the page and confirm the modified parameters: Press the dial. 4
5 Setting of parameters values To exit the page without saving the parameters: Press ESC. Only when one value is selected: The ticket line (, Setpoint Fire) visualizes the currently-set value. Modify as follows: Select the new value: Rotate the dial. Setting a new value (and exit from the setting page): Press the dial. or Keep the previous value (and exit from the setting page): Press ESC. When multiple values may be selected: The ticket lines ( ) visualize the currently-selected values. Modify as follows: Select a value: Rotate the dial. Select/de-select a value: Press the dial. Confirm the new selection: Select Done: Rotate the dial. Select Done: Rotate the dial. or Keep the previous value (and exit from the setting page): Press ESC. Setting of analogic parameters The scale visualizes the minimum and maximum settable values. Modify the current value as follows: Modify the number under the arrow : Rotate the dial. Move the arrow on the left: Rotate continuously by increases of tens (9--->0 o 0--->9). Move the arrow on the right: Do not rotate for about 1 second. 5
6 Confirm the new value (and exit from the setting page): Press the dial. or Keep the previous valve (and exit from the setting page): Press ESC. Main User Operations: Insertion of Password Choice of the language Switching ON and OFF of AHU Press more times ESC (3) until you reach the START PAGE; then rotate the dial (2) until reaching the indication: - INSERT PASSWORD which will be displayed on black background. Press the dial (2) to enter the related control page, and insert 1000 or the one dedicated to the user, taking care at confirming the input value digit by digit. Confirming the last value the panel will automatically move to the MAIN INDEX, from which you may access the UNIT menu, where i twill be possible to verify the functioning of the AHU and the control the main measured values. The enabling by password remains active as long as the related key icon is present, displayed on the upper left corner of the screen. From the item <MAIN INDEX > move to the item <SYSTEM OVERVIEW>, always rotating the dial Press the dial (2) to confirm and enter the screen, through which you may access the item: <SELECT LANGUAGE>, confirm and, with the same operations of selection and confirmation, select the desired language. With active password, access the START PAGE, pressing ESC. Position on the item OPERATION MANUAL, confirm by pressing the rotary selector and access the start menu which will propose three options: 1. Auto 2. Off 3. Stage Choose one according to the desired mode, following the description of the principle which controls its function, described here under: AUTO: the switching ON and OFF of the AHU depends on an external enabling, (timer, digital input, Supervision by BMS etc.). OFF: the AHU is switched OFF in priority mode, regardless external signals which would require its operation. STAGE 1: the AHU is switched ON with priority command with respect to any OFF signals coming from the AUTO command line. 6
7 Modification of Setpoint With the password 1000 active, from the UNIT page access the menu SET POINT / SETTINGS with the rotary selector, confirming by pressing it each time you intend to enter one field of interest. The reference page will show a list of setpoints correspondent to the type of configured application and, in general, it will be possible to access: Setp.Comfort cooling= T C requested in cooling mode Setp.Comfort heating= T C requested in heating mode Setp.min supply temp = T C minimum supply temperature Setp.max supply temp = T C maximum supply temperature Setp. ambience humidity = rh% relative humidity requested in the room in winter mode Setp. Dehumidif.ambience = rh% relative humidity requested in the room in summer mode Then, position the cue above the string indicating the value which you intend to modify, press to access the numeric field, as shown in the following figure which will show value subject to definition, and modify it by rotating the dial and confirm it by pressing it. Visualization and resetting of alarms Al verificarsi di un evento programmato per generare un allarme, il pulsante a LED (4) inizierà a lampeggiare e si colorerà di rosso. Pressing the button you may: Access to the display of the latest alarm. Go to the list of alarms (visualize the alarms going on and the list of previously-occurred alarms). Go to the list of previously-occurred alarms. Access the alarms setting. Recognize and resets the alarms from the list of alarms or from the list of previously-occurred alarms. This last operation is possible once the cause for the alarm has been removed, by pressing twice the blinking red light and placing, with the dial, on the request for ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF THE ALARM, then confirming by pressing it. The LED ought to go off and the AHU start operating again automatically. 7
8 Reading of parameters and controller variables With the password inserted, access the UNIT page, confirm by pressing the dial and access the related menu, in which the access lines to the display of the parameters read, measured or controlled by the software installed on the microprocessor POL63../XXX are listed. Each field gives access to a sub-menu which classifies the analogical and digital inputs, the latter as simple inputs or outputs from alarms. Same for the menu which divides the OUTPUTS into digital (ON OFF type) or analogical (modulating type). It is sufficient to position on the desired item, confirm and access the value which is given in input or to the one released in output in control phase. Modification of state Heating/Cooling by HMI With password 6000 inserted, access the UNIT page, confirm pressing the dial and access the related menu, in which the lines of access to the display of the parameters read, measured or by the software installed on the microprocessor POL63../XXX are listed. Enter the field INPUTS, confirm and scroll down until highlighting the item DIGITAL INPUT. Enter the menu and, after finding the item INPUT Sum /Win, position the cue on it, enter the menu and scroll down to SPECIAL SETTINGS (line 9/10), then enter and scroll until the item CONTACT FUNTION appears (line 5/6). Modify the state from NO to NC or vice versa, confirm and exit.. 8
9 Internal clock program: Setting date and time Switching ON/OFF First fundamental operation for the use of the clock program. With password inserted, scroll down to the item SYSTEM VISION, select the first line on top (relevant to date and time) to set the correct date and time. With password inserted, enter the UNIT menu, scroll down to the item SET POINT/SETTINGS, select, scroll down to the item CLOCK PROGRAM, select, access PROGRAMMING. At this stage the days of the week are displayed, select MONDAY to proceed with the setting. On the display you will see: TIME 1 VALUE 1 TIME 2 VALUE 2.. Up to 6 combinations. The line TIME refers to the time (hour) with which you want to associate an event. The line VALUE will propose two option OFF (AHU switching off) STAGE1 (AHU switching on) Associate the desired action. EXAMPLE: TIME VALUE 1 STAGE1 TIME VALUE 2 OFF The AHU will switch on at 8.00 o clock in the morning and switch off at 20:00 o clock (8:00 p.m. in the evening). It is possible to program each single day of the week manually, alternatively, selecting the item copy, the program done for Monday may be copied up to Friday included, whereas for Saturday and Sunday you will have to proceed manually anyway. 9
10 Switching ON/OFF Double Setpoint In case two temperature setpoints are foreseen, ECO and COMFORT, the programming procedure does not change, only the options of the VALUE line will be different, being OFF (AHU switching off UTA) ECO ST1 (AHU switching on with SETPOINT1) CONF ST1 (AHU switching on with SETPOINT2) These two setpoints values may be set from the menu setpoint/settings. EXAMPLE: TIME VALUE 1 CONF ST1 TIME VALUE 2 ECO ST1 TIME VALUE 3 CONF ST1 TIME VALUE 4 OFF The AHU will switch on at 8:00 with setpoint CONF ST1, at 12:00 it will switch to the setpoint ECO ST1, at 14:00 it will go back to the CONF ST1, at 19:00 it will switch off. N.B.: when a clock program is used, in the start page under the item MANUAL OPERATION, the following options will be proposed: AUTO (time program ON) OFF (AHU off) ECO ST1 (time program OFF, UTA ON with setpoint1) CONF ST1 (time program OFF, UTA ON with setpoint2) 10
11 Transition from Display 895 and 871 The display type POL871.72/STD allows to perform exactly the same functions of the above-mentioned display offering, as a different feature, the possibility to be mounted on a panel, therefore niched on the front side of the control box, and does not permit a remote control via bus. Here under you will find the picture with the description of the function buttons, as related to those used in the magnetic version for outdoors use. Info Alarm up ESC down enter The Push & Roll of the model POL 895 corresponds to these two action keys, in order to move among the various lines and options and by pressing them you obtain the same effect as the when pressing the dial of the POL 871. The lighting ESC button of POL 895 corresponds to the ESC button of the POL871 placed on the bottom right side of the panel with respect to the display. 11
12 Info Alarm ESC The lighting ALARM button of POL 895 corresponds to the ALARM of POL871 placed on the center left side of the panel with respect to the display. The lighting INFO button of POL 895 corresponds to the INFO of POL871 placed on the top left side of the panel with respect to the display. 12
